Here are 2 warnings you need before you read, Dirty Little Lies:     1. This book ends with a cliffhanger. UGH! But, book two will be here very soon, so the wait is short!     2. There is a love triangle in this book. It's an angsty little tension filled struggle to choose between two brothers. I'm not typically a fan of love triangles and will generally avoid a book that features them, so I want you to know you will find one in this book. But, I liked it anyway!I was thrilled to have the audiobook release a couple of days early. I purchased it ASAP and added an audio listen to compliment my read. It was fantastic! Zachary Webber is a master!Emma is a sweet and delightful librarian. She finds herself in a very unfamiliar world drawn to two men. Gavin and Cooper are brothers but they couldn't be more different. The secrets are plentiful, the tension is palpable, and the sexy times are delectable!The push and pull of the relationships makes this book a wild roller coaster ride with hairpin turns and wicked loopty-loops. It can be a little disorienting, but as soon as the ride comes to a stop, you're ready to get back in line and do it all over again! This book left me with mixed feelings. First, nothing in the description tells you it’s a two-book series. Second, This first book did not make me want to run out and spend more money on part tow! Just put it in one book and don’t try to bleed more money out of readers. Makes me not want to buy any more of her books. I have liked some but not all of Kendall Ryan’s books, but this one just drug on. Most of the time, I wanted to shake Emma and tell her to wake up and dump the jerk. She puts up with so much garbage from Gavin, especially after her previous abusive relationship. The plot is slow and predictable. The dialog is like reading a high-schooler’s attempt at writing, and the sex scenes are poorly written and amateurish. This book was a serious step down in quality from some of her previous work. Time to move on to better written stories.

I don't get the trend of cliffhangers. Very disappointing to finish a full length book only to learn you have to buy the next book to find out what happens. I have yet to be duped into reading anything so fantastic that I would pay more to read the next part.

Stars: 4Sexual Orientation: M/FChainIts got some Dark tendencies and definitely some D/s.Hero: I like the guy. He’s well written, has his flaws that make up his character. He’s scared of wanting someone but cant help it either, so this is a real struggle for him.Heroine: AN ACTUAL ADULT WOMAN!!!! I can’t tell you how many times I start a book only to find out the heroine is 18 to 21, such a turn off! This is an actual adult woman; she thinks like an adult, behaves like an adult and makes good decisions. She leads with her heart which most submissive women do but that’s okay because she’s not an idiot!Best part of the book: There was a date scene that she took him on, I loved that. It was so well written and the meaning behind it was just inspiring. Hands down one of the best date scenes I’ve read from any book and I’ve read tons!Worst part of the book: It’s a chain! If it wasn’t a chain I would have given 5 stars, but forcing me to pay more money for another installment is just not my thing. I’m not sure if I will get the second book for this reason alone.

What the? The story ends abruptly just as it gets interesting, meaning you'll have to buy the next book to find out what happens. No thanks, hate being suckered. I expect this when you down load a freebie, but not when you've paid out. Shame on you, Kendall Ryan. Not playing this game again.

Disappointing. The high class pimp and the librarian as a combination didn't work. He should have been the one gasping as she frowned sternly.I might have given this two stars were it not for the additional cheat by the author. This is the first half of a story. Not a cliffhanger, nor the first episode of a series. The reader is dumped at midpoint in the story!Readers will inevitably feel a sense of failure when giving up halfway. In this case it was forced upon me. I'm not happy!

Emma has just come out of an abusive relationship but it doesn't stop her from going to the offices of forbidden desires. It's an escort service where she meets the man she has seen regularly in her coffee shop. Gavin isn't all hearts and flowers but his brother Cooper is, she is their plus one until it gets a bit more serious with Gavin only he isn't the marrying kind.

I quite enjoyed this book and I thought the story was different to many others in this genre. Emma Bell is a single girl who secretly has a crush on a man she sees every day in a coffee shop. She manages to track him down at his company (he co-owns with his brothers) and works for them as an escort. Emma falls in love with one of the brothers but the abrupt ending to the book leaves many unanswered questions.

Read this book in less than a day, kept on saying to myself, just one more chapter!!! Loved the characters, loved the storyline and can't wait to read part 2 to see what happens next.
