Cpu cooler
It works fine if you let the fan at full speed. Then it keeps the cpu nice and cool. I just wished the price was 20 like the others. These do have a weird bracket setup as the 1700 brackets that came installed didn't actually fit my 1700 cpu. I had to use the second largest and that worked perfectly.

Solid thermal performance
First time it didn't fit but when I ordered the second time it fit perfectly and it keeps the temps under 70 on my 9700x

Decent Cooler, Terrible Installation
I'm just adding on to what many others already said; I had a poor experience with mounting the cooler. The instructions weren't difficult to understand, but it felt finicky to place the heat sink on the CPU, turn the motherboard upside-down, then install the backplate. I could not tell if I mounted it evenly, and I was reluctant to tighten the nuts since I didn't want to over-torque them and potentially damage the socket. The backplate has "AM4" on one side and "LGA1200/1700" on the other; according to the instructions, the side you see should match your motherboard socket. I was installing this to an ASRock LGA1200 motherboard, but the LGA1200 orientation did not work because the motherboard had obstructions to the backplate, so I ended up using the AM4 side with the longer screws designed for it. Weird, but this issue seems to be somewhat common.Once I got past the issue of installing the cooler and saw how it performed, I was satisfied with the result. Admittedly, I'm using a 65W TDP CPU (i5-11400F) so it's not hard to cool, but the fan's noise profile is excellent. It's near silent under 1900 rpm, and pleasant until it goes over 2300 rpm. As for cooling, it had no problem keeping my CPU from thermal throttling during a 10 minute Cinebench R23 stress test (it never hit 80°C).Overall, it's a good CPU cooler at a decent price if you can stomach the installation process. I would only recommend getting this for cases with less than 67mm cooler clearance as I would very much prefer to use the cheaper Thermalright Assassin X120/Assassin King, or slightly more expensive Thermalright AXP120-X67.

Punches above its weight class
I've purchased two of these. One is keeping an active 5900x cool in a mini itx case and the other is somehow keeping a non overclocked 9800x3d cool.If the full black nickle plated became available I would replace the gorgeous full copper with those just for looks. This product punches above its weight for sure.

Great cooler. Keep expectations realistic.
I have a fractal terra case with a 9800X3D and 4070 Super. Gaming at 1080p high to max settings I get about 65-70 degrees. Kinda high, but I’ll take it since it’s a low profile cooler.

Worth every cent!!!
Awesome cooler! It fits perfectly in S100 SFF case. Easily keeps Ryzen 5700g in check, at idle and light loads CPU temps are low 30's.

Meh..
Cooling is great but ONLY IF you mount it correctly.I thought I had a dud cooler or maybe people were just full of lies because I had to remount this cooler more than 5 times before I got it to perform like I think it’s supposed to. I’ve built over 100 custom computers and have never had to remount a cpu cooler more than once. The trick to make this work is just a lot of luck and a lot of experience. My advice is stick with the Noctua because their mounting system is much more intuitive and user friendly. You get what you pay for and you really have to put in work to make this function properly.Pros:- looks great- performs great *I used a Noctua fan- keeps my 13600k under 90C on stress tests & gaming- great price- no fitment issues with heatsinks or VRMs on compact motherboardsCons:- Actual Instrcutions are nonexistent, you’re on your own.. and there’s no real help on YouTube or Reddit either.- Mounting System is less than desirable- You will end up needing to remount this cooler several times before you achieve an even contact for optimal cooling- Fan needs to be flipped to pull air away from CPU or your motherboard will be cooking over 75C along with the other components inside the case, including the case.

Handles 9800X3D like a charm
After doing many careful researching, it came down to Noctua slim coolers vs this little guy. And I went with this brand/unit. Mind you, that I'm a Noctua product fan as I love their cooling fans. My CPU of choice is 9800X3D which is a concern since my PC case is pretty darn small and it was purchased for gaming.I've owned the 9800X3D with this cooler for about 6 months now and when I am gaming, CPU temp is usually in 60s and sometimes spikes to low 70 for a while. That to me is well within acceptable range since CPU temp can go upwards of 90s. For what it, how slim and much priced, I think this is one of the best.
