KorkyToilet Repair R528P2 Fill Valve Replacement Cap, Black, Pack of 2

I thought I needed to replace my entire Korky fill-valves AGAIN. I have Toto toilets and they have a very low-rise tank. When set to the lowest setting, the corresponding Korky fill valve (fitting this product) needs to be set at its very lowest position. That way the water level in the Toto tank sits right below the overflow pipe level. The rubber stopper (which this product is a replacement for) over time flattens out slightly… causing the water level to rise about 1/4 of an inch. This just pushes the water level to very slightly drain into the overflow pipe.I’m much happier now that I’ve found this little valve replacement. Because switching this out (which incidentally was a breeze), rather than switching out the whole fill valve appliance again, is so much less work. This barely took a few minutes (which I’m happy about because I had three toilets to do). Whereas changing the whole fill valve takes me a good hour. Not to mention this thing is cheaper.

Couldn't find these in my local big box store. Really didn't need two, but now I have a spare for the other bathroom.Easy to install too.

Tried installing this to fix a 15 year old fill valve; the new one fit the same as the previous one. However, it does not operate the same was as the old one--the new one does not let the float drop down, so the toilet doesn't fill when the new one is installed (but the old one does). Not sure why this happens; I reinstalled the old one after cleaning it out.I'll try replacing only the red seal to see if the new seal plus the old cap will work. But the new seal and the new cap is slightly different than the old one and doesn't work.Update: yes, the new silicone seal with the old cap works perfectly! Much easier than replacing the entire fill valve. Title of review is updated to reflect this.Love that I can just replace the cap though; don't want to replace an entire fill valve if I don't have to.

Fit perfectly and fitted the problem with the original pressure cut-off valve. Highly recommended solution.

This is the part for a Korky toilet filler valve. It contains the little red diaphragm, which is usually the only part that fails in a Korky filler valve. It fits almost all Korky filler valves and you will be finished with the job in less than 15 minutes and that's if you work at turtle pace like I do. We own rental property and changed to Korky when the fluidmaster valves became undependable for us. Over many years I can't imagine how many filler valves I've bought when all we really needed was the little red diaphragm that's included in this part. They don't send any instructions and I didn't look on YouTube for install instructions, but it can be figured out quickly. Wonderful part, works great, reasonably priced... you can't beat that!

I had replaced this part 4+ years ago on my Toto toilet and knew that Korky R528 was the correct part. Amazon carries an OEM Korky R528 in a retail packaging (ASIN B0000DH4NH) for about the same price, but this one comes in 2 - so effectively half the price. I figured having a spare was a good idea, given that I had already placed this part before.Replacing the part is an easy 5 min job. After replacing the part, I turned the water back on and heard a worse hissing sound, indicating that there was a leak. I tried to seat the part again, but the same result. I replaced the part again with the second part in the packaging and that worked perfectly. So apparently, the first part was defective and the second part was good. If I picked the second part first, I would've never known that one of them was defective.So yes, this part works, but be sure to test both of them. I am not going to bother with the return as this one was effectively half the price of the OEM in a retail packaging, (but turned out to be the same price with one of them being defective.) Disappointed.

Fill valve issues are 90% this component because of wear and distortion of rubber seal. Replace this part instead of replacing the entire valve, should solve problem and save $$. Worked for me on multiple toilets.

Affordable and easy fix for the fill valve on our Toto toilet.

Good price, fast delivery and easy to install. this is the third time I have replaced this valve., having 2 toilets in the house. Its a lot easier and cheaper than installing a whole new flush valve. the 2 pack is a good idea so I now have a spare in the cabinet.

I had a leak at the small tube that sends water to the bowl - if you have a Korky valve, you know the one. The diaphragm on the old cap was stiff and discolored. I installed the new one in seconds and all leaks were gone.

Might be original parts. But the mold makers need to go back to school. The parts look close but the tolerances of the fits are different than the original korky parts in both my toilets. The result is the float lever would not drop as the toilet was flushed. The toilet would not refill. I had to put the original parts back in. Will buy fluidmaster products to replace the korky units.
