Awesome truck for under 200 bucks
I'll start off by saying this is a great budget rc. The car is fast I clocked mine at just over 30mph on a 2s. It's durable I've beat on it for about a week now and it held up pretty good until the esc failed I'm hoping they will send me a new one if not ill juat upgrade it.

Stopped working after 20 minutes/ then shattered into pieces once fixed
Drove the car on a residential street that was slightly damp. Snow was on the grass but the car stayed on the street. There were no puddles at all. But with three being a "waterproof" claim, I didn't think damp ground would be an issue. After 20 minutes the car turned off and wouldn't firm back on. Assuming that maybe it was the battery, I put it on the charger for 2 hrs and tried again... nothing. I also took a blow dryer and made sure there wasn't collected moisture anywhere... still nothing. Will update after Hosim rectifies, or notUpdate: Hosim was very understanding and got a new receiver out to me asap. Then, the very next time my son took the car out on our street he hit a small landscaping brick and the front right steering assembly just shattered. Axel, control arms, shock tower, and even the TIRE! This car is fast, but it is made from very CHEAP parts and very unstable. I would NOT recommend this car.

front CVD drive shaft broke on first use
The front CVD drive shaft broke on the first use. I'm new to RC cars and wasn't driving it hard.The positive is that I will have to learn to swap this part out for a new one.

Great RC
Great mid range rc truck. The upper and lower control arms are plastic and break fairly easily. For an extra $30 you can upgrade to metal ones ( in the process of ordering). This thing is super fassst. Would be great to have better instructions on the controller as this one was for a different model. Overall I’m happy and is a great purchase considering its 10% of traxxas trucks.
