I've had three pregnancies in five years, and my babies were not small. My stomach really ballooned out, and I thought there was no way I was going to avoid stretch marks. I used this cream from the start...and shockingly.. I have no stretch marks. It's impossible to say if it was the cream or not, but I could feel it hydrate my skin and I really think it made a difference. The texture is creamy and almost buttery. My skin felt noticeably softer after I put it on, though I needed to wait a few minutes to let it dry before putting my clothes on over it. It has a relatively mild smell, but it's not non-scented. I was very sensitive to smells my entire pregnancy, and this didn't bother me. It almost smells a little citrusy. It doesn't smell like I'm wearing a strong perfume, which was important to me with my super sensitive stomach. All in all, the fact that I bought this over and over speaks for itself. I highly recommend it. I used it over my entire torso, including my chest, which helped retain elasticity in the skin throughout. Excellent cream to prevent stretch marks I really loved this product. The texture is smooth, it absorbs quickly, and leaves the skin well hydrated without a greasy feeling. I used it consistently and noticed my skin felt firmer and more elastic. It has a pleasant scent and lasts a long time. I definitely recommend it for skin care during pregnancy

Well I started using this in my 1st trimester and now I am 32 weeks pregnant and still no stretch marks. It doesn’t feel greasy at all. also like the smell and my stomach is glowing. The only thing I didn’t like about is that now it’s pricey and now it’s finished agh but I don’t think I am gonna stretch anymore lol

I want to give 5 stars but the new formula drops it to 4 stars. I've used this product for both pregnancies, in 2020 and again this year currently at six months along. I've LOVED using this product and didn't have any issues until recently. I subscribed to receive two creams every two months. I noticed a change in the formula of my last shipment from February 2024, which I just started using this month. The appearance, color, texture, and especially the SMELL are different. The sweet apricot aroma has been replaced with an attempt at a lavender scent but failed horribly! It smells like nasty plastic or rubber, which is enough to make me consider switching products. I've reached out to Trilastin customer support through their chatbot and email but have not received a response for over a week now. I've BEGGED them to return to the original formula. Aside from the nasty new smell, this product has been generally positive for me. I had no stretch marks during my first pregnancy and none so far in my current one. While I can't say definitively that it's due to the product, I've read that stretch marks can be hereditary. If your mother had them, you're more likely to have them. Unfortunately, my mother passed away when I was young, so I don't know if she had stretch marks and I don't have any sisters to gather additional information. I've recommended the product to two friends who still developed stretch marks during their pregnancies. One friend was pregnant for the first time, and the other was on her second pregnancy. You'll find hundreds of reviews with varied results here. While I can't claim that this cream is THE miracle solution, in my experience, it has effectively prevented stretch marks in my case. With that, I am considering a new cream because I just cant bare the new smell.

Highly recommend this cream! I’m not sure if it helps with stretch marks as I already started to get them (hence why I purchase this in the first place) but the texture of this cream is the best part! It feels so light and fluffy and easily melted into my skin. My belly feels so moisturized and insanely soft and doesn’t feel greasy or heavy yet it also lasts all day. As someone who been dealing with sensitivity to smell to the point where everything gets me nauseous, this cream surprisingly doesn’t irritates me and has a nice hint of freshness and spa-like smell. For the first time I’m actually enjoy using a belly cream and will continue to repurchase this postpartum!

Ok, so I'm 9 months pregnant now and have waited my ENTIRE pregnancy to write this review. I am prone to stretch marks, have them all over on my butt and thighs from growing and a few faint ones on my hips, again from growing. My skin marks up easily and I scar really easy too. So when I first found out I was pregnant I immediately started researching creams to try and avoid stretch marks at all costs. All the research I did said that there was no proof they work so I almost didn't go down this road, thinking I was a lost cause but I'm SO glad I did! I started using the cream every single day since like 6 weeks gestation even though I obviously wasn't showing yet. Now, I'm 9 months pregnant and a couple weeks away from my due date and have ZERO stretch marks. I'm attributing this to trilastin. That's the only explanation in my opinion. It smells great, moisturizes super well and smells amazing! As soon as I got pregnant everything smelled rotten or like roadkill, but this smelled great from start to finish. I've recommended this to 4 other ladies who found out they were expecting after me. Absolutely love this product and highly recommend to everyone. Consistency is key! And start as early as possible. I wish I had read the full ingredient list before spending so much money. The website and packaging touts this cream as having natural ingredients and the box even states it is unscented but on the other side the ingredient list contradicts both these claims. Parfum(fragrance) is one of the questionable ingredients along with a ton of other synthetic ingredients. I know some preservatives are necessary to keep the cream from getting moldy and full of bacteria but are all of these ingredients really safe and necessary? What purpose does yellow#5 serve? And at least one of the ingredients I looked up is a possible carcinogen (Diethanolamine). A few others were questionable in terms of being a skin irritant. Also I read that one of the preservatives should not be ingested by infants and children so if you're using this on your breasts while breastfeeding you might want to think about that. I feel like this company is dishonest in their marketing this as a natural cream and I would definitely not buy it again. Wish I'd just stuck to my Shea butter even though it isn't as pleasant to apply at least there's only one ingredient. I was doubtful about getting a stretchmark cream in the first place because I've read that they don't really work as stretchmarks have more to do with genetics and diet. I think that eating a healthy diet and staying hydrated helps more to prevent them than any cream can. But the amount of positive reviews I read about this product made me think it couldn't hurt to give it a try. Now after researching the ingredients list I'm wondering if it could. I'm 20 weeks pregnant with my first and no stretch marks so far without using anything. But I also haven't gotten that big yet. I really don't care that much about getting stretch marks and I know they'll fade in time just like the ones I got on my hips and breasts from puberty. I never felt subconscious about those. But I figured if I could avoid getting them why not? I really don't think women should be so subconscious about them though. I feel ashamed that I spent so much money on an unnecessary product with questionable ingredients.

This cream was great for me during my pregnancy. I put it on daily, in the morning and evening, and did not get any stretch marks throughout the 39 weeks I was pregnant. It absorbs into the skin quickly and has a light pleasant smell. It didn't leave any residue on my clothing like some of the belly butters do. It would be great if this came in a larger size as the 118ml tub would only last me a month or so and I had to keep purchasing.

I used this cream throughout my pregnancy it was very light smelling and not greasy.

I have a short torso, and gained 50 pounds during pregnancy, I carried in my belly for the most part However I used this daily on my belly from 15 weeks onwards and barely had any stretch marks!

I used this with my first pregnancy and only got one stretch mark. I am someone who usually gets stretch marks all over. I just finished a jar this morning and opened the new jar I just ordered. The smell and texture is not the same as it has always been (my entire last pregnancy and the jar I just finished). Disappointed that this jar is not the same as the past 3 or 4 I’ve used. Not sure what changed. The original smell and texture were so much better.
