I was weirdly excited to be able to finally own a BoglerCo trowel - to have an original top-of-the-line product and not to be constantly looking for something better. It was a bit of a luxury purchase, but I have no regrets and it'll replace a larger cumbersome plastic trowel that can't handle most hard soils. It is so incredibly lightweight that it'll be an easy choice to take whenever I hike. Can't get over how light this is. Appears very strong. Plastic cap at the top looks like it will make digging a lot more comfortable than many others on the market. Compact size, with the option of easily attaching a stick handle if necessary. Item arrived in less than 24 hours too. Great product.

Keurig op tijd geleverd. Perfecte schep voor onze backpackingen. Zeer licht van gewicht maar voelt nog steeds solide aan. Ik kan deze aanbevelen.

This trowel was well reviewed by Dan Becker and I thought it would be a nice, light replacement for my homemade aluminum angle iron trowel. This trowel by Bogler is well made and will be easier on my hands with its plastic handle tip. Post 1st use Edit: This trowel works fine in somewhat loose soil with small roots. I haven't tried it in rocky soil but it might struggle there. I think with careful use this trowel will do the job in most conditions I will run into in the Rocky Mountains. First use impressions after 8 day backpack trip: This tool really works well as long as some care is taken. In 8 days of use it shows no wear and is ready for more trips.
