Q: Is the steam produced enough to sanitize?

I have never written anything like this; stay as far away from this device as possible. I received what was definitely a used machine with hard water scale accumulated throughout the machine. I bought new not a refurb unit but this was not what I received. Response from vendor was mediocre at best. The design of the machine is poor. Trying to hang the unit to use is a joke, cumbersome and awkward. What steam is produced is no more than a pittance compared to other brands. No, it does not sanitize; it never gets hot enough.
