Citizen Men's Eco-Drive Promaster Land Chronograph Watch in Stainless Steel, Perpetual Calendar

I own several citizen watches and all are high quality, so I'm not the least bit surprised that this one is as well. Watch is very well built. The sapphire crystal is great. I wear it nearly every day and despite my not being very gentle with it, after six months the crystal doesn't have a single mark on it. The stainless steel strap is high quality. I can't attest to the difficulty of removing links because I have pretty large wrists and it fit me perfectly right out of the box. This is a fairly big and heavy watch so it might not be the best choice if you have smaller wrists but it fits me perfectly. Many people are saying the setup is very difficult and a few have even returned it for that reason but I disagree with them. Download the manual and spend a few minutes reading the instructions and it isn't bad at all. The best part is that once it is set you won't have to mess with it again. This watch is accurate to the second every single day. Radio control works great and it sets itself every morning at 2am. It accounts for leap year, DST and the number of days in the month. Literally set it and forget it. The lume is excellent. It has enough light to continue glowing all night. Just make sure it gets some light every once in awhile to keep the lume and battery charged. Highly recommeded!!

I love the domed sapphire crystal and the dial is very easy to read with its large numerals and indices. Lume is actually good and is at least as bright as and is the same lume color as my Steinhart. I love the brushed stainless steel of this watch, as highly polished stainless steel scratches very easily. The perpetual calendar function works perfectly once you set everything and you never to set the time/calendar on this watch after it's fully set up. Without the radio control function, this watch is advertised as accurate to +/- 15 seconds/month or about +/- 1 second/day. In my experience, this is accurate. Add in radio control and it's accurate to +/- 1 second/year! This is a wonderful watch, but beware, if you're new to Citizen watches, it'll take about 30 minutes or so while watching a tutorial to set up this watch the first time. After that, it's set it and forget it. The Eco-Drive (light-powered quartz movement) works well and I've never seen the power reserve indicator show below the highes (7-10 months left) indicator. This watch basically runs with no input from you after initial setup and will do so until the year 2100. I very highly recommend this watch.

The watch communicates with one of the U.S. government’s atomic clocks via radio reception, keeping the watch ridiculously accurate. The watch would be good for sportsmen and outdoor adventurers, with a sapphire crystal, rugged metal band, water resistance to 200 meters, chronograph and alarm. Its rechargeable battery won’t need to be replaced. Just give it a little sunlight from time to time. (Indoor light would work, but why stay indoors? Go Diving. Climb mountains. Fly airplanes. The watch can take it. Can't you?) I’m happy with the watch. I expect it to last a long time.

I has performed flawlessly and keeps pefect time

I have another eco drive citizen watch with a leather strap, but I wanted to move up the watch ladder. This watch is no exception. Between the stainless steel, sapphire glass, the radio control, eco drive, and the green watch face, this watch is second to none! My girlfriend even loved it and says it looks good. I was lucky enough to buy this when it was on sale for $345 after tax. Sad it went back up to $520 already. Maybe wait and get it on sale again, but even at full price, this is worth it.

I have had citizen atomic watches for more than 10 years with no issues. This watch is stupid complex to set (unless this is a defective watch). I didn't realize that there would be so many different manual settings to coordinate. Also, after syncing overnight, it sometimes has crazy changes and I have to set it up all over again. I will likely return it.
