Easy to use and accurate strip thermometer.The current strip on my tank only shows the current temp, nothing above or below. So not sure if that is a problem yet. I have had it on my tank for a week and it has stayed steady at 79F (hard to see in pic).Also, thank goodness there was extras because I placed one my tank and changed my mind on the placement. I took it off and tried to reuse it but it was a no go.Overall they seem to be a good purchase.

I wanted these strips to monitor the temperature while fermenting sauerkraut in mason jars. After purchasing these particular strips I can say that he level of brightness was grossly over exaggerated. In the Amazon photo's the strips appeared so bright you would have thought they were somehow back lit. Don't be fooled by the photos. I literally have to get right down in front of them, inches away, to see what the temp is. Even then it is difficult to distinguish what temp it is reading. Im not sure if I just got a bad batch or not but I tried 2 of them and got the same result both times. However, being that this is the first time I have ever used temp strips I'm not sure if this dull/dim level of brightness is normal for all temp strips or not. With that said, the strips were reasonably priced, arrived promptly and I assume were generally accurate. But, if you can barely read the temps then........

For aquarium use they are very large. Blocks the view of the fish. My bad for not reading more on the size. Also I started applying and then had to reset as it was crooked and the backing comes apart easily so it looks crappy now.

This was purchased along with the floating thermometer; probably by acvident. I have both on/in my round aquarium, side by side. The agree within 1degree; so, unless they both wrong,and I do a finger-tip check often, it's easy to see the water temp is good. For some unknown reason, my heater went briefly nuts and overheated the water and cooked one of my neons. The survivors, including a betta, are now very active and happy.

These sticker thermometers do their job well. I used to have a glass aquarium thermometer inside my tank where I keep fish and a turtle and somehow my turtle broke the thermometer. VERY dangerous and fortunately none of my animals were hurt. I'll stick to the sticker thermometers (pun fully intended.)
