Update(3.18.19): I had to give it a star back. the lid is holding up awesome. I have dropped my mug with coffee in it at least 4 times (hands full), and none has ever spilled. There are some chips in parts of the plastic from when it it the ground, and still going strong. I will definitely be picking up a new one when this one goes. I wish that there was some design change so I didn't get coffee on my nose from the lid closure when it is open and I am taking a sip. But that is not near enough to dissuade me from recommending this lid.Update (8.24.19): I have changed from 2 to 4stars. C&Berg contacted me soon after my previous review, indicated there was a batch defect, and offered me a new lid free of charge. This one has been good for the month I have had it. No cloudiness. No cracking. The only reason I have not give it 5 stars is I would like to see how long it lasts (but I didn't want my prior 2 star review lingering).Original: I've owned two of these so far. At the beginning they're really good (I could throw my mug in my bag with coffee on it with the lid and and never spoiled a drop) ; but, after a month or two they got cloudy and they cracked. Not sure why. I thought it was just a defect with the first one I had, so that's why I got the second. But it happened with that one too.

**UPDATE** Not long after my initial review for the flip top lids I switched over to their slider lids (C&Berg, Silicon Slider Locking Closure Lid). The slider lids work much better for me, do not leak, are easy to clean. I recommend them over the flip top lids.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Bought these to use with RTIC 20 oz. tumbler. They fit perfectly, stay tight and do not leak, even after trying to make them leak.CON: My nose rubs up against the flip top (and gets wet) when sipping hot coffee, this is a nuisance but I knew this might happen from other reviews posted. Not sure if anything can be done about this except make the flip top longer and move it further back on the lid to accommodate people like me with big noses. Am wondering how other guys with schnoz surplus drink from these lids.I now use these flip top lids for transport which provides leak prevention, then switch out to the original lids that came with the tumbler when ready to sip steaming hot coffee. I may try the slider lids in the near future.I recommend these quality lids because they do stop leakage/spilling as advertised but know you may have nose impingement with the flip top like I and others do.

This lid is expensive for what it is. Better off buying a new travel cup; the only reason why I decided to purchase this is because my cup is sentimental and I want to keep using it.Not sure how this received such good reviews...The design needs improvement...1. The lid goes on creating a tight seal but, you have to make sure to release the pressure every so often to prevent the lid from sliding up and breaking that seal. (Could be a deal breaker for some)2. The 'latch' you open in order to sip from the cup does not lay flush with the lid. The rim of the lid prevents it from being pushed back enough. When you sip from the cup, if you dont tilt your head all the way back, the latch touches your nose. If you do tilt your head back, it will drip off the latch onto your nose. Either way, you have to remember to wipe the rubber stopper off before sipping or your nose will get wet.3. Mine leaks. The lid does create a fairly good seal around but, it leaks from the 'latch'. Not sure if this is because of poor design or if I received one with a defect.Bottom line, I am very dissatisfied with this product. I would suggest buying a new cup unless, of course, your cup is sentimental like mine. Then I would suggest looking further.Just my experience...hope it helps

I only wish I could use the lids somehow. I’ll keep an eye out for other products this company sells as they were great to deal with.CLARIFICATION-in no way did I intend to impress that the lids were poorly made. They are of high quality, just that the flip tab bumped my nose; and they fit the cups but just didn’t stop leaks. I would recommend the lids otherwise.Initial Review…I specifically purchased this item because of its claim to be spill proof. It is not. Very disappointed. It leaked from the seal right at the start. And yes, I read and followed the manufacturer instructions. Just doesn’t seal and tried it on two different travel mugs.And if that weren’t bad enough, the flip tab you open to drink from the lid hits you in the nose leaving coffee drops. Very annoying.

GREAT product! The solution to those awful RTIC or Yeti (or other brands) lids that leak and spill and ruin clothes, handbags, etc.I am so glad I found these. I had stopped using the insulated cup I had, but now can enjoy it again because this lid absolutely stops the leaks.I only use mine for ice water, so I cannot give any feedback on hot drinks, but the instructions are pretty clear on how to handle that.Customer service is wonderful too. Delivery was faster than expected and I was asked if I was happy with the product. It's nice to know that a company still cares about it's customers. And no, I did not receive anything for this review. I bought the lids myself and highly recommend them.**UPDATE 4/4/17** I used this lid on very hot tea, and it worked great! I followed the instructions of leaving the closure open while putting on the lid, leaving it open for just a minute or so before I closed it up and went to work. The lid stayed on securely, condensation formed on the lid because it was so hot, but it never popped open! I am thoroughly happy with these lids.

I purchased these lids based on reviews and was extremely disappointed that they do not fit the Yeti mug I have, I think that the company saying that they fit should know this is not the case.

Sí funcionan y sí le caben a mi Yeti de 20 oz, pero no es mentira que no son de la misma calidad, se gotea pero ess mínimo, por milimetros no es lo mismo
