Dogs n Pups Shampoo for Dogs with Folliculitis, Hot Spot, Mange, Dandruff - 6.0 oz

Immediately helped my Maltese puppy with a hot spot that he kept self traumatizing nightly, even after the vet gave him a cortisone shot and was on antibiotics. I was nervous about using any shampoo because of the rawness of the hot spot but we had to give him a bath as, not only was he smelling of blood from bleeding at the site (which we cleaned daily), he was starting to scratch at other areas, so I started researching. Many, if not all, of the high rating (and with many ratings) shampoos for itchy skin either noted it was not safe to use on raw skin or did not state whether or not it was safe to use on raw skin. I also did not read any reviews that owners had used it on raw skin. Then I came across this shampoo and saw the word "scrapes" which implies it can be used on abrasions. I used this shampoo immediately after receiving it, using a teeny tiny drop mixed with lots of water on the area first to ensure it didn't sting. Not only did it not sting the area, my fur baby, for the first time since the hot spot developed, stopped scratching the area and the area started to heal a day or two following. Additionally, he has not scratch any others areas since (he's been scratching at various areas since we brought him home at 8 weeks old but no more since we started using this shampoo). Lastly, I love the smell of the essential oil that lingers, not strongly, on my baby's fur after his baths. The smell lingers for about a few days. Overall, I am extremely extremely satisfied with this product.

We’ve had our puppy that we found on the streets for almost a year with this horrible rash & itching!! We’ve had him to the vet. Tried prescriptions, Benadryl etc! Used this stuff 1 time & cleared him up almost completely & hardly itching at all. We haven’t needed to use it a 2nd time yet & it’s been a week. I was skeptical but had to try something. I’m beyond impressed & so happy the little brat is comfortable now ❤️ Finally 👍🏼

Our cocker spaniel has what the vet calls “severe, progressive dermatitis” that nearly covers his whole body. Unfortunately, it was resistant to antibiotics. We are currently waiting for blood/urine results to determine what it is. In the interim, we purchased this shampoo to alleviate his pain and anxiety over this condition. We just finished bathing him and this is the first time he’s sleeping peacefully since his condition started. He’s not licking, scratching, shivering from pain/anxiety, or breathing rapidly. It’s amazing to see! Because he has so much fur, we had to use over half the bottle on one bath. Despite being expensive, we just ordered another bottle. It’s totally worth the money to see him in a peaceful state.

This is a tiny bottle and so its over priced compared to better brands in the store for twice the volume. Not happy and I should have read the actual small print as I assumed it was thee same size bottle as all the other folliculitis shampoos , my bad but one star for this misrepresentation in advertisement.sneaky selling

Overall i love this product with one use you can see the difference in my dogs skin. My dig is not itching and scratching as much. After the second use the scratching and itching is gone. Awesome product. If only they could improve the smell so it wont smell like medicine.

This is the second bottle we ordered.........my sister went nuts over this shampoo so gave her what was left of the first bottle. It is just AMAZING! The smell is sooooooooooo good, seriously have been temped to use it on my own hair. Blu's coat is SHINY and SOFT and it rinses clean.........this is the ONLY shampoo we will be using on him from here on.......

Just like the other reviewers had previously mentioned, this shampoo really works at treating folliculitus. My dog's skin has gotten better and better with every wash (2-4 times a week). After 2 washes I would say her skin was 90% better. Expensive, but completely worth it. Just ordered another bottle to have on hand.

I ordered this product because a coworker recommended it to me that it'll help with the dog's skin irritation. My dog scratches herself a lot and this product wasn't able to help her with her skin problems. Her skin is flaky, red, and the shampoo made her scratch more.
