Works great!
This was easy to assemble and not as large as some of the competitors. I bought a similar one that I had to return because it was too wide to fit on any of my doors due to my door frame being too close to a wall and not allowing enough room for how wide the bar was. I like this one better because it's not as wide & it is a lot lighter and easier for me to hang on door and remove. Even though it is lighter than the one I returned it is still very sturdy.

Must buy!
I only gave it 4 stars on easy to assemble because it was a bit difficult to get the bults to go in and fit correctly. Other than that minor set back it is amazing! It's really sturdy and supper easy to use. I chose this one because it was the cheaper option and im honestly really glad because I didn't waiste extra money on a diffrent product when this one is amazing and is multi purposeful!

Does not fit thicker doorways (and may require damaging the top of doorway frame)
The parts were easy to assemble (instructions seemed clear) and the assembled unit appears quite sturdy and well-built, however I was not able to actually test it because I could not make it fit a single doorway in my older house. Why not? Because in order to be used, the unit must "straddle" (in an upside-down manner) the doorway -- hanging from and through the doorway -- and to do this correctly the doorway cannot exceed some unknown, unspecified total thickness. My older house has thick plaster walls and the doorframes protrude further beyond the walls to a total thickness of 7" -- too much for this unit to fit. I had to return the unit and I gave as my reason an incomplete website description; the website description should specify the maximum total doorway thickness that will work. I was sorry to have to return the item because in other respects it seemed well-constructed. I should also mention that there is a kind of "bracket" included that is supposed to be inserted between the top of the doorway and the wall to support or perhaps to stabilize the assembly, and forcing this metal bracket between the frame and the wall might well damage either or both (I wasn't able to get far enough in installing it to find out). So: it might work in your house, unfortunately it did not work for mine.

Works Perfect for a 130 lbs. Teenager
Since my son joined JROTC, he has taken an interest in his physical fitness. We always encourage new interests, but as any parent can tell you such interests can be fleeting. As such, the key to frugal parenting is finding relatively inexpensive and unobtrusive ways to encourage blooming interests, and this product is perfect. He assembled it himself from it's packaging in just a few minutes; we had it hanging above his doorway in just a few seconds more. While he currently only weighs around 130 lbs., it feels rock solid, which suggests to me it could easily handle more. The material is just heavy-duty enough to get the job done, while being lightweight enough to easily remove and store in a closet when necessary. My son has taken to doing three quick pull-ups each time he passes his door, which means in the months since he's had it, this chin up bar has already seen hundreds of uses. After such use, it looks and feels brand new. We can't speak to it's being good for a heavier or bigger person, but for a trim young man it is perfect. I normally use terms like "for the money", but in this case I can't imagine anything working any better at any price. Solid product.

Tiny Assembly Error, Major Inconvenience.
Inserted what looked like 1 of 4 identical bolts into the apparatus only to find I should have inserted the other hardly noticeable "shorter" bolt. After nearly fastening the bolt and nut I found it was about 2mm too long to be secure, so I thought, "No big deal, I'll just unfasten it." Wrong. The nut would not release as fastening feature didn't hold properly because the bolt size was different, and the bolt was too recessed into the hole to use pliers. Now I'm stuck trying to unscrew a round head bolt incapable of attaching a wrench unless I go out and buy more specialized tools. I understand I made the initial mistake, but with what seemed like tiny error turned into a HUGE inconvenience. The instructions were small and hard to read, and all would have been fine if they simply stated the importance of not mixing up the nearly identical bolts (or at least made the fastening shape the same in the holes). I'm now left with a partially assembled annoyance and 20 odd bucks in the whole. Horrible experience.

Difficult to know which doorframe to put it on
It's fairly easy to put the parts together. Just know that you have to screw some things together. they even include a cool mini wrench. The problem is that I had no idea which doorframe was suitable for it, and this being the first time I've used something like this this step took a lot of trouble shooting.I thought it would easily go onto any door frame, but it is more complicated than that. I finally found a doorframe in my house where it fit on easily. I don't exactly know why but most doorframes in my house it would not fit. I'm guessing they are too big.The pull up bar comes with this little metal piece and some simple instructions. I kept wondering if I misinterpreted it - was I supposed to hammer this metal thing in? Didn't expect to have to do that. All of the videos I found didn't help much. Also I apologize but at this point I will not be adding a proper video. The truth is once you find the right door frame this thing slides on easily just like you'd expect and works fine. To your surprise it may not work on most doorframes. Somehow I feel like they should have made this part more idiot proof.
