Super cute and such a great idea for a kids toys! And they really are as cute in person. Love the sound they make when being "cut". However I'm a little bummed about the quality. One piece has a visible crack in the wood and another piece is painted sloppily (has a noticeable black smudge in more than one spot). I wouldn't usually be so picky but I'm giving them as a gift. The packaging also makes them look cheap. I will definitely be finding something else to put them in. Hopefully those errors were just a fluke and not common with all of them.

Smaller than expected but I didn't read the reviews or look at photos. My daughter always joins me in the kitchen and she likes to help me cook. This is perfect for her. I am a little worried because it didn't seem brand new there was marker on the fruit and cutting board. Besides that, it's pretty excellent and okay for the price. For my mini chef she couldn't be happier so that's all that counts right? And she is using my regular size cutting board but that's ok. She is used to real size items.

My niece is going to love these! I do have to say that I am disappointed only because both sets are pictured and the wording is deceiving. I think that you need to add "or" inbetween the fruit and vegetable part so that no one else thinks they are getting big sets as well.

Really cute but velcro doesn't stick very well. So it is difficult to get it to stick back together.

My son loves these! I only took a star away because the Velcro is not very strong and I'm not yet sure how long it will hold up

The material for the knife is too thin. It broke during travel.

My 2 year old daughter loved the Pretend Cutting Toy! Me and my wife are always reluctant when buying new toys because we never know if our daoughter will love them for more then 5 minutes.From the first time she started to play with it she knew exactly what it was and how to use it. We were once again amazed at how much little kids watch and learn from us adults in every day life activities, like cutting food in the kitchen table.She absolutely loves this toy and it's been her favorite since she's had it.Great toy!

Package arrived already open. Wooden knife was not sanded properly and would have possibly given the children splinters. Not as good of quality as the Melissa and Doug alternatives. Returned.
