Quirky control button and battery/ SEE MY REVIEW UPDATE!
I got these clippers about 2 years ago. Right off the bat I noticed that the on off switch was quirky sometimes needing several tries to turn off or on. Also the readout would only come on momentarily when plugging in the charger. I decided to keep, however because those issues not withstanding, it was a good tool. The first year passed and I would use 3 or 4 times to shave my shaggy dog till she overgrew again. I would routinely charge prior to the one hour job. This year I noticed the charge would only last a half hour, requiring me to recharge to finish her. The last time I used it, it lasted about 10 minutes. It took me 7 days to get her finished. I've been watching the charge over the last few months and it doesn't stay charged, dying at about the 5 minute mark. Once I charged; switched on and this time the charge readout appeared and stay on while running. You could watch the % drop every few seconds and it got to zero just in a few minutes. I'm gonna try to contact the seller and see if they're maybe good guys and can provide a new better replacement battery. If they do I will revise this review. If not I do not recommend Holdog. It's a rechargeable battery and was not abused nor used too much. I'm also wondering if this was a return or refurb that they slipped in. **** I heard back within a few hours. They apologized and asked if they could replace. I agreed. They did say it might take a little bit, but I an impressed with their customer service. I will update when I receive the replacement. This make me very happy as this, minus the few problems is the best clippers I've ever owned and it's quiet and doesn't scare my dog. Kudo to Holdog Sevice Team. Top stars for immediate response. UPDATE. True to their word. I received a brand new one and it works perfectly. This is the kind of company I highly recommend. They were responsive and fulfill their promise. They get a 5 star PLUS review. These are the BEST clippers I've ever owned. I give their customer service 5 stars + as well. I am totally amazed at how quick and painlessly they responded. I can't give anymore kudos all around because this is a great company, product and seller staff. My best wishes to all evolved. This would make a great Xmas present for any dog owner and would be excellent for a person who has a beard . ********** Phil C.

Five Years Later and Still Going Strong â Best Dog Clippers Iâve Owned
If I could give these 10 stars, I would. Five stars feels like underreporting. Iâm writing this five years later, which already tells you everything you need to know. These clippers have been used consistently on my Havaneseâs thick, wavy coat with monthly trims, and they have absolutely withstood the test of time. No decline in performance. No mysterious drop in power. No âit used to be betterâ disappointment. They glide through thick fur like it isnât even there. No snagging. No jamming. No tugging that makes your dog side-eye you like youâve betrayed them. The blade stays cool, the cut stays smooth, and the motor never sounds strained. It just⊠works. Every single time. The battery life is unreal. Iâve charged these twice since Iâve owned them. Thatâs not a typo. They hold their charge better than any grooming tool Iâve ever used, and the power output has stayed consistent year after year. Noise-wise, theyâre impressively calm. Low vibration, low sound, and zero drama. My dog has never been stressed by them, which matters more than any feature list. Theyâre also beginner-friendly but still professional-level. Adjustable combs, precise blade settings, and a design that makes you feel in control instead of nervous. Iâve recommended these to all my friends with dogs, and every single one has come back impressed. These clippers donât just perform well. They last. If youâre grooming at home and want something reliable, powerful, and genuinely durable, this is it. Ten stars if I could.

So far, I feel these are worth the money and are as described. Nice kit!
So far, so good. They are as described. The LED display is easy to read and provides the speed, percentage of charge you have left and lights up well. They came charged up well. I re-charged them after grooming my miniature poodle yesterday and they charged up rather quickly, that was nice. They didn't get hot during the groom and are quieter than our old clippers which were "high end" brand name clippers that didn't last long. They also felt good and easy to handle as you groom, the design is great. The clipper blades are sharp and did not pull during cutting. I feel these are worth the money, so far. I will update if anything changes but so far, I am happy with this purchase.

100% recommend
I bought this set based on the reviews and they didn't disappoint. I have a Morkie that won't let anyone touch him. This is the first set of clippers that are extremely easy to use and his hair doesn't get caught in the attachment. They are sharp as well. I definitely would recommend these.

As someone who has both a large dog and a small dog, finding a clipper that works well for both of them is often a challenge. But these clippers seem to handle my St. Bernards thick coat and my small dogs fur without any issues. One of the things I really appreciate is the three-speed setting. I can adjust the speed based on how thick the fur is or how nervous my pets are feeling. The low noise feature is a game-changer too; my dog used to get super anxious with other clippers, but he stayed calm while I was grooming her with these. Plus, being cordless makes the whole process so much easier! I can move around freely without worrying about a cord getting in the way, which is especially helpful when my pets decide to shift positions on me. The battery life is solidâI was able to do a full grooming session without needing to recharge. Overall, these clippers are powerful, quiet, and easy to use. Iâm feeling great about how well they work for both of my pets, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable grooming tools at home!

It's not loud like some others are and it's comfortable to hold! My dogs are scared of most clippers but they seem fine with these. For the price there's also a lot included. Definitely recommend!

On attaque bourre aprĂšs bourre.
