What's the height, from tip of male socket insert to top of ratchet?

Grabbed my calipers and measured for you:- Overall width, from tip of male square socket insert to protruding edge of female hex socket on opposite face: 0.968 in.- Width from tip of male square socket insert to opposing face of tool body (the chrome part): 0.827 in.- Width of head tool body (the chrome part): 0.518 in.

Do the sockets snap in to stay, and driver bits stay by some means?

This has the usual spring loaded ball bearing to hold sockets in place if they are indented on the inside. The same would be true for bits if they are constructed like a socket, or are locked into a socket.

Product Dimensions 5.8 x 1.4 x 0.5 inches. A very nice tool, small enough to get to tight spots, and quality built.

Is this the 3/8 ratchet or the 1/4 one just ask because I need the 3/8

1/4 inch. Not what you need but an awesone wrench.
