The Hydroponic City1.5 Grodan Rockwool Cubes for Seed Starter (98 Hydroponic Plugs) + Stakes

So far these cubes have been the perfect medium for my plants. As long as I soak them for several hours in a ph adjusted solution to get their ph down, my seeds are germinating in 2 days. Very importantly, what I’ve read about other brands, these cubes don’t fall apart after soaking and their size works great with the net cups I use.

Good quality product

I wanted to find alternatives to purchasing from the TG website to avoid paying shipping costs (I live in Hawai’i so everything costs a bit more). I’m glad I found these to quickly and easily reorder cubes for my tower. The only thing with these cubes is you need to puncture your own hole for the seeds to sit in. I just used my finger to make a shallow hole for the seeds and then placed vermiculite on top.

I have only had 25% success rate sprouting seeds in these cubes. Quality seeds were used.I have used these for hydroponics where the plants were sprouted in soil and transplanted to the cubes and placed in a tower.
