Flight Gear HP Crosswind Bag For Pilots

I purchased this flight bag when I started pilot training. I wanted something I could keep all of the things I needed for my training and keep all of it organized. It has been over a year now and I have put this bag through its paces. It is durable and just the right size. The side zipper pouch not only holds my David Clark headset but also my head lamp. There are slots on the outside for pens/pencils, the side pouch is big enough to hold a water bottle but I use it to hold my cell phone and CX-3. The slot on the back is big enough to store my iPad Air I bring along with me as a back up to my iPad mini. The front zipper compartment is deep enough to store my sunglasses, universal GPS receiver, chargers, etc. Inside the bag is roomy enough to keep my iPad mini, log book, E6-B, plotter, maps, wallet, etc. The inside side pockets are roomy enough to store my POH’s, log sheets, and note pads. I highly recommend this flight bag.

Been using this bag for about a month now, and it has been perfect for my student pilot routine.-The padded headset pocket is JUST big enough to perfectly fit my wide and bulky Lightspeed Sierras-Front pocket neatly stows my logbook, ID/documents, and flight computer-Rear (open) pockets hold sectionals, E6B, plotter, and POH for quick access-Padded iPad pocket neatly holds my iPad mini EFB and is well-placed on the front wall for easy access without having to unzip the whole top flap and dig through it-Leaves PLENTY of room in the main compartment for my ADS-B reciever(with suction cup in its bulky case), iPad kneeboard, GoPro with headstrap, spare eyeglasses, charging cables, etc. with lots of room to spare. Just enough pockets to keep everything neatly organized without wasting any spaceTime will tell as far as durability, but so far it feels solid and doesn't mind being bungee-corded to my motorcycle to and from the airport.

I am a student pilot and just as I recieved the bag, I instantly loved it. Arrived just in time. It is really well built and looks exactly as what you paid for. The bag is just the right size and is very usefull due to all the pockets and compartments, such as the headset pocket. If you are looking for a great bag to help you go through training and further o into your career, this is just the perfect bag for you. really helpfull, it really can't get any better for the price and quality

Just perfect for student pilots, nothing to complain around, perfect size, very sturdy, enough pockets and price is perfect. I have been looking around for a decent flight bag (Flight Outfitters, ASA, Jeppesen, Design 4 pilots), they were just too big or too small and not firm/sturdy, this one is perfect, just buy it you won`t regret it.One thing for new student pilots, I`ve just started flying and I found out that if your ground class is not on same day with your flight, my bag is half empty. If your schedule like mine, I would recommend you Flight Gear HP iPad Bag and Flight Outfitters Lift, bit expensive but from pictures they seem good for just flying and good quality.

Good amount of space for headset, ipad, ipad mount, knee board, fuel tester and gauge, logbook e68 etc. I like the padded pocket for the ipad and many small pocket so things don't get lost in the main compartment. So far it's been pretty sturdy. The zippers are nice as well and doesn't get stuck. The carrying strap is also well padded.

I have not used it yet but initial check & positive reviews hopefully will provide good service.

I've just got back into flying after several years. This bag is a beauty. Light weight, good quality, and good looking. Lots of pockets on the side make for easy access to notepads or ipads, which is far handier than I expected it to be.This bag is large for a small airplane. I keep a few paper charts in it, in addition to the FAR AIM, E6B, and manual flight planning tools. If you're not going to carry that kind of stuff, then this bag is definitely too large for you. If you're flying small GA planes, don't get anything larger than you need to.

I am currently getting my private pilots certificate so I needed something inexpensive to carry all my stuff in. This bag is amazing! Fits my huge headset just fine (David & Clark H10-30). Zipper pouches on front and regular pouches on back for quick access to flight maps. Inside has one compartment on one side. Only gripe with me is that I wish it had more compartments inside. My CFI told me he wants one now.
