Great hair conditioner ingredient
I use DHMC in my hair mask formulation instead of BTMS because it does not irritante my scalp like BTMS does. I absolutely love the DHMC hair conditioning effect. It is not an easy ingredient to work with due to its higher melting point and it will solidify rapidily at room temperature. I found it a bit tricky to work with initially because you'll need to ensure it is fully melted before you mix it with all other HOT oil and water ingredients as you emulsify / blend it, but once you figureout the right temperature to mix this ingredient you'll be making a much nicer hair conditioning product.
