The good news is these are wood and they are wedges and they do work. They are hardwood which is a good thing. With all these wedges, they sometimes feel small to me. One new thing I learned to help put the prewoven caning into the groove is use 1/2 of a clothes pin. The wedges can hold it in place but you need better tools than these wedges to put the cane in place. I've tried a lot of different tools, the clothespin has to be one of the simplest and most effective.

After replacing the cane on a number of chairs,I bought these. Previously I used ones I had made from softer wood.I like these better as they are hardwood and are easier to work with.

I was hoping this product would be a bit larger than it is. But, the product is still reliable when placed in the perfect area for wedge support.

I used these while placing new rattan in a chair seat. I watched a You Tube tutorial on how to use them and they worked perfectly!

got smaller than what I was looking for. Does not look very strong for it to be solid wood. I feel the price is grossly inflated for four tiny heels. I will try and glue, then duct tape them together and hope it works for my needs. Very small. So small they honestly seem useless. But will soon see.

I suppose I didn't read the size description but these are too small to be good for anything at all. I purchased thinking they would help stop a recliner from rocking.
