This animated film is generally appropriate for kids but will also appeal to adults. If a fish is to protect his home and the love of his life from a bully shark, he must discover his destiny.It's pretty amusing to watch thanks to the stunning cartoon graphics and pleasant voiceovers. For young children, a number of the words and phrases used are inappropriate. Although the language is not rated G, the content is. Some of the movie's lines will make sense to adults but not to children.This movie imparts the important idea of problem-solving using logic. It also imparts lessons on friendship and love. It's a good movie all around.

This provided excellent entertainment for my four-year-old granddaughter and eight-year-old grandson. They watched it twice right away and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cartoon graphics are fantastic, and the celebrity voice-overs make it a lot of fun for both kids and adults.

This movie is has a cute storyline, however it drags in some places. It didn't always keep my nieces attention, there were places where she didn't want to watch it, she's almost four. Also, I think it was inappropriately rated. The movie is rated G but it has suggestive statements in it, such as, "What the fish?" my niece is at an age where she repeats things that she hears. Children repeat things like that not knowing what they are gesturing. Due to this, I think the movie should have been rated PG at least. Other than that it, it had a cute storyline and cute characters. Due to the parts that are suggestive, I won't be allowing my niece to watch it again at least for a few more years. It also said "You've got to be fishing kidding me." As well as, some others I can't remember, that is so ridiculous and unnecessary for a children's movie.

I bought this for entertainment for my 11 mo old grandson as he cries from boredom in his rear-facing carseat. He enjoys watching the fish at my house so I figured he would enjoy looking at the fish in the movie. He no longer cries on our car trips. Mission accomplished.

I bought this to watch in my kindergarten class for the end of the year as we were learning about ocean animals. The storyline is alright but what bothered me more was the language. For my 5 and 6 year olds, it was a little inappropriate. It said "idiot" "shut up" "stupid" and "hot babe" to name some... my kids kept going "ohhhhh they said a bad word!!" And it got pretty annoying that I just stopped the movie. So just be mindful of this if you are watching with children.

Zusammenfassung der ersten 5 Minuten des Films:Umweltverschmutzung, siamesische Zwillinge, dreiäugige Fische mit überdimensionalem Angelhaken im Körper, Missbildungen (Fisch mit zwei Schwänzen) und eine genüsslich ausgewalzte Szene, in der ein kleiner Fisch seine Eltern verliert mit anschließender Depression.Danke, meine Kinder (4 und 6) waren nach diesen 5 Minuten bedient.
