Works!
Don't usually have enough time to do reviews but for this product I am making time! Had one mouse that managed to get into the house around some pipes under the bathroom sink. We knew exactly which room he was in as we could hear the chewing all night. I had multiple types of snap traps set up with no luck. My daughters bugged me to get a humane trap, so I set it up with a few chunks of peanut butter and caught the mouse on the very first night! I'm not convinced trapping is totally humane since I had to let it loose outside where hawks, cats, etc live, but this product works!

Works great
Has worked great every time. Caught a mouse each time I've put it out. Has caught both adult and quite young mice. Directions could be a bit clearer. I think you need to manually press down each ramp until it locks and the gate doesn't swing freely when you set it (at least that's what I've always done and works great). I suspect that may be the issue in some of the reviews that describe the mouse entering and leaving the tunnel.

Even placed it in it's favorite mouse poop covered cupboard to no avail
Mouse doesn't pay it any attention, not even with various tasty morsels waiting inside. Been a couple weeks, seen the little sucker running around 2x in the last 3 day. Even placed it in it's favorite mouse poop covered cupboard to no avail.*Update* I moved it and it right in the mouse path after I saw the route the varmint was taking after almost stepping on it. I Ieft the house for 2hrs, came back and the effer got was able to walk right out of it! Even ate it's bounty ontop of it and left poop on the plastic window as if to mock me. Only plus is it ate some poison, which will hopefully its the job because this trap didn't!

Disappointed
I have had this in my apartment for 3 months and have caught only 3 mice and that was a couple of weeks ago. Strangely I caught those in a matter of hours. Other than that nothing. I've seen them numerous times near a corner of the kitchen. I placed it there and have actually seen them sitting on it! I've moved it around the house but to no avail. I won't use traps or poison because I just can't kill them and I also have small dogs. I've tried repellents which don't work so this was my last option. Looks like it might just be time to move as they are all over my building.

IMO Clear top traps, may not work as well as the solid ones.
Purchased one that wasn't see thru. Worked great bought 2 more, with the clear top. Now nota. Not sure what it is, the first one wasn't see thru caught, and still catches mice, the ones with the clear lid and colored. Nothing. Either one. I'm guessing it's not dark enough, I doubt the mice avoided it bc of the color. Don't really have an opinion, bc I do not know why the clear top don't seem to work very well. I do know I won't be ordering clear top traps again. The first one worked great still does. I put these new ones same spot same bait, cracker w/pb.

Great design but they get out
Sorry, great idea that you can see through it but I bought 3 of these and they are not catching them at all whereas my older one, metal, small window, etc is. The really puzzling thing is that they get in them but somehow get out. There is poop inside but no mouse. I am still working with them so if I figure it out, I may change my review because I like the design.

A Great Live Trap - Smart Design
If you want a live-catch trap, this one is great. Over 20 mice caught in just a few weeks. Have caught up to two at a time. The trap would hold many more at one time.Have to rinse it daily due to all of the droppings inside. There is no sign of rust or the mechanisms getting gummed up.Speaking of the mechanisms, they are ingenious. The mice can enter from either side, but they cannot get out. The parts they would be tempted to try and chew through are all metal. No signs of wear. The see-through top is plastic but they do not seem to think to chew their way out of the top. Plus, there are no edges for them to chew on as the top clips on from the outside.A very smart design. Will buy again if this one wears out.

Looks like the photo
Looks like the photo. Easy to use, just flip open the top, throw in some goodies and wait for the little mice to enter. Been using for a week, but nothing yet. Nothing in my other traps either though. So maybe my sonic traps are working finally. 🙃😉😁 I'll Up the rating when/if I catch one of my Stuart Little sized home invaders!
