With the initial full charge as received I was optimistic as the light was bright right through to the early hours. Now today, which was a bit more cloudy, but still a long bright day it lasted a pathetic 2 hours. Came on about 7:30pm and was dead by 9:30pm. Appalling product that should not be for sale in the UK as it is not fit for purposeUpdate 12 Oct. 12 hours of light has resulted in a dim light for less than 15mins - AVOID THIS PRODUCT as it is not fit for purpose.

We needed a solar light on the gate on the decking of our caravan, this works well, weatherproof, just don't forget to wipe the top now and again so it can charge.Well worth the money.

I have purchased two of these lights to go on my drive gate posts in August this year. One has now stopped working and on inspection it is full of water. These are supposed to be waterproof. I u derstand I cannot return it via amazon, however, j cannot find a way to contact the manufacturer as it is clearly sub standard.

Colour-changing solar lights work well on fence posts but can be placed in most places. As long as the sun reaches them for most of the day. Works well and brightens up my garden during these winter months. Great addition for Christmas garden theme.
