LARGE WACOM INTOUS PRO TABLET vs. DESK BATTLE NO LONGER A PROBLEM!!!
LARGE WACOM INTOUS PRO TABLET vs. DESK BATTLE NO LONGER A PROBLEM!I own a Large Intous Pro. I love it. It is big and impressive. But I do not have a ton of space on my desk and I would like it positioned at an ergonomic angle. I find it easier to access and maximize its functionality when it it raised up than when it is lying flat and it takes up less real estate. At first I was using my document/book stand which worked for awhile but the bottom lip was to large and was uncomfortable to rest my arm on.Fellows Designer Suites Laptop Riser is the best solution I have found after weeks of looking. Here is why:1. The riser has a small footprint so I can position the base close to my monitor riser on my right and keep my Mac keyboard just to the left.2. My tablet fits on it fantastically. Of course the tablet is bigger but it base supports the center well and the tablet does not tilt or rock on the riser when I press on the buttons or scroll wheel.3. It has 2 angles that I find useful.4. A low rise lip is a perfect match to my tablets low profile edge and keeps it in place. It also does not interfere when I rest my hand or arm across it.5. The documentation indicates a useful space in the back to store a USB hub! Nothing fancy and it dose not describe it specifically but being able to tuck that away and have it easy to reach is a plus in my book. I alternate between plug and wireless modes for the tablet so not having to reach behind my Mac all the time will be handy.I will use this thing 8 hours a day easily doing illustrations and design work so comfort and support are key.I wish Wacom could sell this as an accessory up front on their site. I would have gotten it right away. Might even move more large tablets. LOL

Does its function!
If you have a laptop with a curved or beveled leading edge the laptop slides off at the higher angle so I have mine at a slight incline to alleviate that issue. It is somewhat sturdy as long as its job is to just hold the lap top. It has a slight wobble with the base and stand BUT I did pay under $30 and it was over $50 at the office store. So I would buy it again.

Lip is too small
I wanted a riser for my standing desk to save my neck when I'm working on my laptop, and settled on this one because it was the only one large enough to accommodate my dinosaur of a laptop. I've had it for a few weeks now, and for the most part it's great - stable, with a variety of height adjustment options. The only problem is the lip across the bottom to keep the computer from sliding off at steep inclines. My laptop is close to an inch thick. The lip is only about half an inch. It's secure enough if I'm standing there working, but I don't feel comfortable leaving it on the riser when I step away from my desk. Not a dealbreaker for me, but it's definitely something to be aware if you have a larger machine.

Excellent for Macbook Air!
I got this riser for use with a 2011 Macbook Air. It would be used for docking purposes with an external keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Upon receiving the item, I can understand why some people would be hesitant about the size of the lip holding the laptop on. It's perfectly find for a thin Air, but with bulkier PC laptops, it might be a tad precarious. I have the thing set in its most tilted setting, and the bottom of the laptop LCD and my external Dell on a 5-inch stand line up perfectly. Given 100% choice, it would line up top-to-top, but it still makes it extremely useable. The lack of side guards is actually very good in that it makes it very easy to access the ports. And the unit has a good amount of friction, so I wouldn't ever worry about my laptop sliding off sideways.

I had one and my daughter asked for her own. She loves it, it's my second purchase of the same product.

Simple but effective
Worked well at elevating my laptop to make it even with my second monitor. Was good and sturdy and held the laptop in place without any question or hesitation. There is a limited number of angle options though. This would be my only complaint. If they could have designed it with just a couple more angle options it would have been a 5 star item. Of course it might have made it less stable which would make it a 3 star item. I would gladly sacrife adjustability to gain steady and sturdy.

Stable and functional laptop stand
Purchased this laptop stand for business to hold our Executive Director's 17" Dell Laptop when not mobile and at his desk. The adjustable height and angle was perfect for positioning the laptop's screen at an appropriate level. He has been very happy with this choice. The 17" laptop does extend over the edge of the stand but it is very stable and does not waver with this added size. I would definitely recommend this stand to anyone looking for a quality desk solution for their laptop.

Works well
Purchased for a 14-in laptop that had a tendency to run hot. Before this, was using the Kensington Cooling Stand that had issues. This one works great - keeps laptop cooler and allows me to change the viewing angle. Ledge at the bottom keeps laptop from sliding off the riser. Able to use this on a desk or on my lap. Only wish it was more portable (I used to be able to fit the Kensington in my laptop bag).

Useless
This product is poorly designed for its job. The plastic riser at the front to stop the laptop failing off is far to small for most laptops and is only suitable if your laptop is square edged. Even then it would still be to shallow to hold the laptop. Waste of time and money, item was returned

does everything it should
does everything it should, at low cost, and it arrived the next morning. Doesn't fold very flat, which makes it harder to carry around. And doesn't hold an iPad, but then why should it?
