Interesting take on how the little guy can invest in Initial Public Offerings. The book covers the basic concepts of IPO investing. It does give an already seasoned investor in the stock market a good grounding in the IPO process. It’s definitely not a beginner’s book. I would have liked to have seen more exit strategies described in the book. And more information about the downside of certain investment practices, such as SPAC deals. Other than that, solid information about the IPO process.

I found this not as easy as I would have liked, as a beginner I would have liked to have my handheld a little more but I got through it ok.There are a few typos and grammatical errors which are always disappointing, even on the description page on Amazon. However, it doesn't detract from the content so I didn't mark it down.The content is solid from a layman's perspective, it is hard to critic it without knowledge on the subject so I won't try. That said I found the information easy to understand, mostly, and it gave me what I wanted which was a basic understanding of the IPO process. I've always been interested and keen to know more and this book certainly gave me that.Having read the book I now look out for companies making IPO announcements and follow with a keen eye, soon I'll start to dip my feet into the world of IPO investing. But for now, I want to watch and see if what I have learned is sound. I'm excited but want to proceed with caution.After all, they say only trade with money that you can afford to lose.

Matthew Smith has written one of the most helpful guides on investing in IPO's that you will find. IPO Investing Guide offers a clear and concise example of everything from IPO hazards to investing with confidence. Making the right decisions will determine your future in the IPO investing process. This book offers lucid descriptions of how each method works and secrets that the author has developed over the years. Recommended.

This is a decent overview of IPOs, the process of going public, the terminology, etc. However, the title “how to make 100% profit” is misleading, since it more than suggests that this author has worked out a particular strategy or system - and little more than an IPO overview is provided here. Again, this book is just an overview of IPOs, and will not give you the strategy necessary to be successful at IPO investing.

I have been really interested in IPO investing for quite some time and am really glad I came across this one. It’s filled with step-by-step techniques, detailed descriptions and charts/graphs. It’ll take you from what is an IPO and how it works, to how to choose the right investment. Well written and easy to follow as well. I enjoyed it very much. Now let’s see if I can put it to good use!

For anyone who has any interest in investing in businesses but doesn't have the slightest clue of where to start, this book is a good primer for this topic. You learn the basic terminology, how the IPO process works, how to choose a company and profit!It's not an "easy" process, but it is absolute worth learning the framework so you can understand the possibility of making money.

I've always wanted to be able to gt into IPO's but didn't really know-how. Wow, this book was a total eye-opener for me. I love the step-by-step techniques, but best of all I can participate with only a few thousand dollars. This is should be in your business library.
