Is the CoQ10 water soluble, oil soluble or a dry formula? What is the bioavailability?

Hi CoQ10 is a lipid-soluble vitamin-like compound. All forms of CoQ10 , because of their hydrophobicity and large molecular weight, have slow and limited absorption. In the case of dietary supplements, available data on the absorption and metabolism of coenzyme Q10 shows there is a reasonable correlation between increase in blood plasma CoQ10 and ingested dose size up to a certain point. To our mind there is no clear evidence that one type of CoQ10 has better absorption than another. Basically, we feel the best way to maximise plasma CoQ10 (which is the only thing that matters at the end) is to take a large dose regularly and with some food that has fat in it. This is why we supply only a 300mg capsule (we believe smaller doses just can't lift the plasma CoQ10 enough to make a difference).

Sour smell? Anyone else have a sour spoiled smell when they open their bottle? Not sure if that’s normal.
