Perfect luggage
I purchased three of these over six years ago. My family and I have traveled by air with these in several international destinations. They’ve been tossed into rental cars, shuttles and hotels from the Cook Islands to Iceland and are still as good as the day we got them! Zero broken parts. Perfect luggage! Gorilla tough Samsonite

great luggage; in danger of being discontinued?
I have had the two-wheeled twin Flite predecessor for years and have loved it.I bought this because I needed a second bag and this only comes as a spinner now.I don't like spinners because the four protruding wheels tend to catch on things butotherwise this is just as good as and otherwise identical to its two-wheeled Flite forerunner.Anyway, in a world awash with soft-sided, either unlocked or weakly lockable spinners, this bag, which doesn't even appear on the Samsonite website at this time (is it being discontinued?),is one of a vanishing breed and has the following advantages. It is hard-sided propylene, hence more rugged and tamper/knife/sharp-edge-resistant.It has a combination lock for you and a keyed lock for TSA.And it is weather/water-proof since the closure uses rubber gaskets.Good for luggage left out in the rain. Note that zippered luggage can be flimsy withregard to shear forces since the two halves are connected by just a flimsy zipper. This Samsonite luggage is rigid/sturdy with regard to the application of all forces. And there are plenty of videos on youtube that show how trivially easy it is to forceopen the zipper closure with just a ball point pen, rummage around, and then zipit back up with no-one the wiser -- until you open your luggage later and findsomething missing. No need to cut the zipper cloth -- just unzip it!Obviously the Flite does not have this vulnerability. Also it is light compared to aluminum hard-sides.So, encourage malefactors to go after easier targets by using this luggage. So, all in all, the best luggage available, IMO, and in a distinct minority.Just buy it while it can be bought.

Samsonite Rules
The TSA broke my old Samsonite, purchased in the 90's, that had gone all around the world with me. Scratched up, but totally intact to this day like an old friend. Recently, the TSA started breaking into it and broke one of the locks, looking for drugs or weapons on me: a little 70 year lady. They kept leaving nasty notes in my underwear and wet bathing suits admonishing me for not having the "correct" suitcase. So I gave in and got this one. Nothing fancy about it, just as rugged as my old one, but with updated locks AND WHEELS! Smooth and easy. I expect it will last the rest of my life.

Great durable suitcase
Love this suitcase. This is my second one. It is a basic no-frills case. If you want lots of pockets - this is not the suitcase for you. Hard plastic shell prevents me from going over the weight limit since there is no give. No zipper on this suitcase - which I like. Three clasps to close. Main clasp has an easy to set 3 digit combination. Locking clasp allows me to secure items in the case at hotels when I am not in the room. I have used this suitcase for US and international travels with no issues.

Great capacity, very secure, fairly sturdy, stands out in the baggage area
I've used this twice for overseas travel and I like it a lot. Apparently United Airlines uses the old gorilla-with-American-Tourister commercials for training their baggage handlers, so I acquired a long, deep scratch and assorted scuffs, but the travel bag is still very sound. In comparison with other hard-shell cases, this one seems thicker and sturdier. The lock and clamps performed quite well.I bought some compression cubes and actually prefer that this case has no liner, just a simple divider for the top. Even though it's sturdy, I recommend packing it fairly tightly to help the sides stand up to heavy weights being stacked on top at the airport. The only concern I have is that the handle now seems a bit loose at full extension, but that may just be breaking in. In any event, I do recommend this bag.

It's like tupperware for your stuff.
As a scuba diver, I travel extensively with some fairly expensive gear. This is the best suitcase I have ever had for protecting it. Another feature that works well for me is that the inside is unlined. Occasionally some of my gear is still damp when it gets packed to come home. Without the padding and lining that most suitcases have, that doesn't matter. The other major advantage to this suitcase is security. It has latches and a built in TSA lock. I realize that if someone wants into my suitcase, there is no practical way that I can prevent it without spending a fortune. But at least with the F'Light, they will need more than a ball point pen, which is all it takes to break into even the most expensive zippered luggage.

Need to have it repaired
The screws failed on the divider. Other than that I love the thing. Travels well and is sturdy. Need to have warranty work done.
