The media could not be loaded. This is not a light thing, it's metal and sturdy. Mounting on a wall would be pretty straightforward but I highly recommend finding studs. I am not sure how it would work if you didn't have studs the right width apart for the mounts, with my limited carpentry knowledge I would probably just mount it over a long board that was itself screwed into multiple studs if my studs weren't spaced in a way that would fit the holes here.For my use case, I myself envisioned this as a dual purpose thing: a projector screen and a way to cleverly cover my open shelf which is currently used for storage of musical instruments and accessories I don't often use. As a result, I needed to mount it in the ceiling. This wasn't easy as a solo job. With two people it would be easier to mark the second point for the second ceiling hook to go. There is almost no leeway if you put your second ceiling hook in the wrong place, as the projector screen comes with small loops to hook onto rather than something with more wiggle room, like a chain.I ended up doing this by hanging one end, and setting my ladder up on the other end and walking it over to the ladder, and climbing the ladder with it one hand. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are comfortable ascending a ladder without both hands to steady you.I also had some trouble finding my first ceiling joist, but that's not the fault of this screen. Now my ceiling has a few more holes than I wanted, but it's nothing a little spackle and touch up paint won't fix. In the end, I got it done by myself and I'm quite proud. I even mounted the wired remote into the wall and used a third hook to tuck the power cord behind some stuff on my shelf.So 1) Find your joists for ceiling mount/studs for wall mount and 2) two well placed hooks (ceiling)/screws (wall) should do it!P.S. Wireless remote has two buttons that don't do anything, makes me think the electronics were just repurposed when the remote was made for something else originally.

This projector screen is hanging from my ceiling and works perfectly whether I am using the remote control or the attached controller. The remote control comes with a plastic sleeve and screws, so I attached it to my headboard so I can easily push the button and lower and raise the screen. The picture quality is projected nicely and clearly. I can also easily remove the projector from the 2 hooks I am hanging it from and move it to a different room. I have hooks hanging in 3 rooms, so I can move it around depending on the occasion, such as putting it in the living room when I have friends over. I put it in my guest bedroom to entertain my family's kids when they come visit. I do wish I had gotten one just a little bit wider, but that is just a personal preference. My projector is 7 feet away and it fits perfectly onto the screen. If I were to go back further it would be too wide for this particular screen.

So far looks like a real good product it comes with a remote control which is great but I don't like the other box that it comes with because you cannot remove it if you do not want to use it takes up room but installs very easy I used one of the packing material that it came with as a template for my drywall screws stuck two screws in that measured it with the existing screen screwed it right up in about 3 minutes and installed my screen easy to install

The media could not be loaded. Overall quality is good for the price. I like it. The aluminum housing had a pretty decent size dent in it when it arrived. Luckily I have it up in the ceiling hidden however if I had it exposed I definitely would’ve returned for a new one. Takes about 30 seconds to come down and go up which is a bit on the slow side but totally not a big deal. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.

The screen material is extremely poor quality and does not hang flat. The effect of this is a distorted picture. Amazon does not provide any support for this projector screen, you will work directly with Pyle.You can expect extremely poor support. I have had my screen replaced twice, once for unbelievably wavey screen material with horizontal creases and the replacement screen's electrical control overheated and burned up. Pyle customer service committed to replacing the screen but never did even after many many attempts with them. I then tried to get Amazon to provide some support through their AtoZ policy. I was told multiple times by Amazon the time limit was expired. This was due to Pyle's lack of support and lying that created such a long delay. At the end of the day I do not have a screen and they have my money. Pyle's unethical business practices and potential safety issues are the issues you need to consider before buying this projector screen.

Nice for a small projection room.

It was easy to set up and worked as described. I had to return it because I measured the space I hung it wrong, and the return process was super simple.

This projector screen was easy to install and worked great for a few uses. After that, something must have went wrong and it became stuck and would not go up or down unless I stood on a chair and did it manually. I'm not the best when it comes to technical issues but I spent six hours trying to fix it using the troubleshooting tips provided and my own research on motorized projector screens. It still did not work after all that and I was a minute away from going insane and chucking it out of my window. Maybe I did something wrong as I was trying to fix it or I am not knowledgeable enough about these types of technical things but I don't expect products to break on me after the first few uses. Besides the motor that must hate me, I will give warnings of a bad chemical smell (especially noticeable within a bedroom) and a very weird size that will need some adjustment.
