Works great and love the collapsible design. Also it’s functional to rinse veggies and fruits! For the price you can’t beat it!

We decided to try this instead of getting yet another cheaper clear one. The collapsible feature is nice; but, as other reviews mention, it’s not very easy to transition from fully collapsed to fully open. Even after washing in the bottom dishwasher rack on sanitize (and after several uses), the clear part isn’t getting any more pliable (to make the transition easier). But, when collapsed, it is definitely more space saving in the dishwasher. We just leave it open inside the microwave (like previous ones).I haven’t tried to use it as a colander, but this is also a nice feature (and would be great in a small kitchen where storage is an issue). It is a little taller than the previous ones we’ve used, which is nice. It also doesn’t dip down in the center, like the others. The width is about the same (rests on the edge of our dinner plates and fits just inside the glass tray in the microwave). It’s also easier to wash / rinse (between dishwasher washes), and it looks like it’s not going to stain and otherwise show wear nearly as much as the others.I was concerned that the vents wouldn’t keep the heat / steam in like the other covers we’ve used… and that it might not be as effective as a splatter guard because of that. But it does hold the steam and does contain the mess.I do wish the collapsible feature was more easily usable; but, overall, we are happy with the purchase. The extra height without the dip in the middle is great. But it also looks nicer / is better quality than the clear plastic ones.

so grateful no more messy splatters in my microwave lightweight when I don’t use it I can close it up and if there is a mess, it’s easy to clean up. Definitely a great value for the money.

The media could not be loaded. Overall, this does what it is intended to do. I love that it collapses for storage purposes. However, the handle does not stay on and continually pops off. So when I want to pop open the container, the detachable handle comes off. I pretty much have to pop it up without the handle. I tried using super glue to keep it in place. That was unsuccessful.

Very convenient and practical microwave cover! I use it daily — it fits different plate sizes well and keeps food splatters from dirtying the microwave.
