Just right in every way, right out of the box.
After reading other reviews I tried this wrist rest and another. Both arrived together in the same shipping package and I was excited to try them out and get (hopefully) some relief from wrist pain and a bruised 'palm heel'. It didn't take me long AT ALL to decide I liked this one (Imak Ergobeads Wrist Cushion) better. The other one (Handstands Add-A-Pad Wrist Cushion) works as advertised and for the most part is fine, but for my tastes it is just a little too full and therefore not as flexible and so my wrist rests ON it and seems too high off the desk. With the Imak my wrist is cradled in it and supported just a little off the desk. The Imak is a few dollars more, but well worth it in my book! Just using it for two days has provided some level of relief! I'll be buying a couple more for use at work.

Great wrist support
I am using a computer table for my laptop to keep the heat generated from it away from my legs. I needed something to support my wrist so I purchased this mouse wrist cushion and it saved the day. I love how squishy it is, which allows my wrist to rest easily on it without any hard edges. I can't be without it now. (This is a repeat purchase as I have been using one at work for over 6 years and needed one at home-I know it holds up well and hasn't needed to be replaced.) Very happy with this product.

Not enough beads filling
As you can see I have an Imak ergo black cushion and it works well, comfortable to use. So I ordered another and they only had gray. Color not a big deal however the gray one is NOT filled with beads like the other and is flat and hurts my wrist. Very disappointed they are not consistent in quality.

Misleading
I thought I would be getting two of them and only got one. I will say it is comfortable, just very misleading.

Poor Quality, too small to be useful
This is a very small wrist rest, not completely filled either, I found it to be uncomfortable and not a good choice for a wrist rest for mouse use.Luckily Amazon gave me a full refund and prepaid return shipping label. The "Allsop" brand is a much better choice at a cost of 8.99. Its larger and comfortable to use.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000XZ8MB6/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00Follow up 9/20/2012: I did get a full refund including the shipping cost, and returned the item at Amazon's expense. However my above comments about the item still stand because it is 100% true, but I will give now 2 extra stars for good customer service.I still do not suggest you buy this item though.

As much as I enjoy this cushion, it disappoints me
This could easily be a 5 star product, if only it lasted longer. I have just bought my second cushion because I liked it so much. However, I wasn't planning on having to buy a new one so soon. I ordered my first one on April 14, 2014. I placed the order for my next one on Jul 8, 2014. That's not even a full 3 months.Referring to the 'new' cushion: It is great! Supports your wrist wonderfully, no matter which way you position it. The little beads on this inside feel really nice as well. The fabric is tight and soft.Referring to my 3 months old cushion: After just basic, every day use, it has lost basically all functionality. The fabric has lost most of its pleasant feeling, almost feels a little rough now. It has also stretched out, which, in turn, leaves more space for the micro beads on the inside to spread out. This basically leaves your wrist unsupported. In fact, it is actually more annoying to use this cushion than it would be without it at all.It is hard to explain how much it has degraded, so I will include some pictures that hopefully story better. I have nothing against this company and really enjoy the product, however, if this one goes out again in less than 3 months I will not be purchasing another.

used it 3 months every weekday all day
No sign of wear. I use hand cream during the winter months so I got the heather gray color because it doesn't show discoloration. Many cut off the tag but they might forget that it's hand wash in cool water with mild soap; dry flat on towel. Haven't tried washing it yet. Fabric is stretchy and moderately filled with beads smaller than peppercorns, so it retains its shape instead of developing a dent with use. I'm spoiled now; when using the mouse without the cushion I'm very aware of my wrist bone rubbing against the table. Although a rubber bottom might stop it from plopping on the floor occasionally, then it wouldn't feel right when I pick it up and squeeze it idly. The company started out making them for physical therapy. Before I got this seems like caveman times. If it disappeared from my office cube I would buy another in a minute Thanks Imak.= = = = = = = =update; another 3 months have gone by and it looks like new. Some detractors say the beads part, leaving the middle empty and exposed to the hard table underneath. They do part, but it serves to hold up the wrist gently but firmly on each side. If I press down hard on the pad, there's still a centimeter of beads between my wrist and the table. To me it feels like a cloud, but Wreck-It Ralph might need to look elsewhere. Some comments also mention a non-skid backing. There is none on this; it's soft the same on top and bottom.

A must have for long computer sessions
Love this little thing. I've gotten so used to it that I can't use a computer without it. Prevents wrist pain for long computer sessions especially when gaming and making many dynamic mouse movements.I was hesitant to get this at first since the dimensions were about half the size of one that I purchased many years ago. I decided to go for it anyways and I'm glad I did. It works just as well as the larger version, if not better. The pouch seems much more saturated with beads which allows a even and consistent distribution during use. With the larger version I found myself squeezing beads around to ensure there was pressure relief where my wrist was. Not an issue with this little guy.Definitely recommend this for all heavy computer users.
