Fishman, Acoustic Guitar Amplifier, LoudBox Performer with Bluetooth PRO-LBT-UK7

A fine amp for a bistro or restaurant gig with 75-100 people. My Fender Acoustisonic Jr. quit, and since my gig is a steady one at a local bistro I needed an amp that would cut the mustard. I checked out the different amp companies and finally talked to Frank at Fishman. He suggested the PRO-LBX-700 Performer. I ordered it and the cover. It sounds super with the large jazz box (L5 type) guitar I play, plus I run a small CD player through the other channel that supplies background music for my instrumentals. The 29 lbs. is a real plus for a 70 year old like me. I just wish I'd known about this amp around twenty years ago. It may not have been around then. I would suggest getting the amp cover since the only negative comments seem to be about the finish on the amp being fragile. The amp is a bit pricey, but worth the money.

Nice controls with easy to read dial positions. The anti-feedback feature could be more responsive although it is a neat feature. The phantom power supply is another handy feature for use with some mic's. Tilt bar gives this unit a nice monitor position if desired. Grill cover is thin. Sound is clear without distortion at high gain. One star off for charging $30 extra for a soft cover. It would be nice to have removeable wheels on the bottom of the unit.

I have only been using this for a little while now but it does what it is supposed to do. I wanted something I could take on the road with a Martin Dreadnought Jr. and this duo does the job.

If you play an acoustic/electric guitar and need amplification there is no better product on the market. It has rich tones and maintains the natural sounds of an acoustic/electric guitar. The amp has many features like reverb, chorus, and anti-feedback control plus inputs for two guitars and two XLR microphone jacks. In essence you get a great guitar amp and small PA system for two performers for a very reasonable price. It can stand alone or enhance an existing PA system.

You will need a little practice with all the adj possible on this amp but this is a great acoustic amp and it does what I was expected to do. Voice and guitar you would like it. A plus for Fishman.
