True RMS and feature rich at a low price.
So far, I mostly like it. I'm glad I read the reviews about the poor display visibility at an angle, because that would of been a major disappointment if I hadn't been expecting it. Probes could be sharper but are pretty decent, caps pull off the tips to reveal the full pin for low voltage work. This meter is not built for professional, industrial, or high voltage work but should be fine for the home electronics experimenter. Inactivity alarm and auto off work to save the 9V battery though I haven't had it long enough to judge battery life.

Mostly measures up.
For my purposes, this is not a bad meter. I would not use it in a high energy situation, (Mains or higher) but it seems fine for limited energy, bench use. It seems to be a competent 6000 count meter.

Cheap fuses
Great meter until the 600ma micro fuse (which is actually only 500ma) blows at less then 200ma currentNow I have to spend almost 8 bucks for a package of fuses.

Great meter for the price.
It is much smaller than I expected but works great. I have no major complaints about the meter but the temperature probe that came with mine was defective.

YOU CANNOT GO WRONG! GET YOU ONE!
A great little DMM, especially for the price. Actually, it is unbelievable! I have a Fluke Model 87 which I paid $400 for some years ago and this little meter has more functions, is lighter and you won't find anything better for the price. It even came with the temperature probe which works flawlessly. The screen refresh rate is more than satisfactory. One cannot complain considering the world has turned into throwaway rather than repair! We technicians are most certainly becoming obsolete.Hey, you ladies! Christmas is coming. Your old man won't complain about having one of these. Great for beginners and for us old Spark Chasers! GET YOU ONE!

Disappointed
Mine was DOA. It came with batteries installed so I changed them out for Duracell and it still would not work. After reinstalling the original batteries, came to life. I can only guess that the circuitry near the batteries was faulty. Decided to not take a chance, so I returned it.

Tiny meter with surprising True RMS accuracy.
Just a quick review. I consider this a near disposable (because it's cheap!) alternative to a Fluke 115. I fed it an assortment of voltages and waveforms and it reads within half a percent of my Keithley 2015 THD 6.5 digit bench multimeter up to 1kHz.Time will tell about its durability but at this kind of price it's cheap enough to buy several spares. This will go in my tool kit for field testing and I'll probably buy one to leave in my car.
