desertcart.com: I Am Cowboy - A Milos Vesely Thriller: 9780988672529: Robinson MSW MCC, Jeremy: Books Review: Fast & Fun Read but Too Short! - Fast paced and action filled adventure. Thoroughly enjoyed this novella! A followup novel would be a big bonus. Cowboy is a great character! Review: Very, very clever and well done. 4.5 out of 5 - "I Am Cowboy" is the latest novel from Jeremy Robinson. It's a spin-off from his earlier book called "Second World". This new story follows Milos Vesely (Cowboy) as he continues his battle against his sworn advisory - the Nazi Party. The book opens with Vesely in some sort of ancient underground facility chasing (and being chased) by Nazis. In the process, he stumbles upon Dr. Sarah Pasha. She is an archeologist that has been captured by the Nazis. Cowboy rescues Pasha and the remainder of the book is about their adventure moving through the tunnels of the mysterious underground city. As the book unfolds, the secrets of the city and the treasure it holds are slowly revealed. The climax of the story is classic Jeremy Robinson. It's full on action - loaded with near death escapes, endgame revelations, and surprising twists. Then you get to the epilogue...... What Robinson does with the epilogue for this book is as clever as anything he's ever written. For fans of his other books, these last five or six pages elevate "I Am Cowboy" from a solid read, to something really special. Special not only because of Robinson's very well thought out tie in, but also special because of what the future might hold for this potential new series. It's obvious that Robinson takes his readers requests very seriously and with "Cowboy's" epilogue, he's really shown us again just how creative he can be. Very well done. Fun to read. Perfectly ended. 4.5 out of 5.

After SecondWorld
I am Cowboy is a sequel to another of Robinsons books, SecondWorld, which involved an attempt by Nazis, preserved by cryogenics since WW2 to cleanse the world of non believers in preparation for a takeover. Cool premise, right? I Am Cowboy continues on a little while after the conclusion of SecondWorld, and features Milos "Cowboy" Vesely a supporting character from SecondWorld who was instrumental in saving the world from the Nazis the first time round. Milos is a consipiracy theorist and fringe author, who predicted the events of SecondWorld thereby making himself a target in the first book. He is also obsessed by the Cowboy culture of the American Wild West and has been driven by this obsession to become a very competent "gunslinger", complete with Stetson hat and six shooters. Now, he is spending his time hunting down the remaining Nazis, and during the process manages to stumble across another of their plots to gain access to a device of unimaginable power, built by the Atlantians! After rescuing a beutiful archeaologist Dr Sarah Pasha who was being coerced by the Nazis into helping to reveal the location of the Atlantian device, he and Sarah are pursued by Nazis past deadly traps into the heart of the Atlantian mystery! This is a good fun read and a good sequel to SecondWorld (which Id also recommend!)

Fast, furious, and funny!
This book has Milos "Cowboy" Vesely, a well-developed secondary character from a previous book, "Secondworld", as the main character. It combines several elements from the action/adventure genre, yet manages to make them feel wholly original. Robinson hits on all cylinders here-as he does in his other novels I have read to date-with fine, rich characterization, whiplash pacing, and fun dialogue that doesn't try to distract from lame plotting with rimshot humour as other lesser authors would do. Like all of Robinson's books, it is fast, enjoyable, and fun. If you are burned out on historical/conspiracy fiction authors who take their stories and characters WAY too seriously, pick up 'Secondworld' and 'Nazi Hunter Atlantis' for a rollicking double feature that will make you feel as excited as you did when you saw 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' for the first time...

A Great Sequel to SECONDWORLD. Enjoy.
The first book I read by Jeremy Robinson I brought at the local Dollar Store which really worked well for Mr. Robinson as after reading that first book I had to find all his other books and have now read almost 3 quarters of his work. I AM COWBOY was a difficult book to find as it is first published under a different title but I found it and I really liked this book. It is a lose sequal to SECONDWORLD and follows more of Milos Vesely as he goes after more Nazis to kill. In this book he is in Egypt and saves Sarah Pasha from the Direlwanger Brigade, fifty of the most ruthless soldiers in the Third Reich who really deserved killing. Cowboy really excels in hunting down Nazi who were left after the events of SECONDWORLD. Mr Robinson asked that if the reader enjoyed I AM COWBOY to write a review so that perhaps he can write some more books telling more stories of Milos Vesely and Lincoln Miller the main character in SECONDWORLD. I hope Jeremy Robinson is able to write more stories about Cowboy and Lincoln Miller. The book has lots of violence but not much sexual content, just a hint of romance. I need to shout out a big Thank You to Mr Robinson for many hours of reading pleasure and recommend his books to all who like action adventure.

Pretty Good
I like Cowboys character A LOT! He is brave and goofy but this story just did not do him justice. It was just okay and not very cohesive.

Cowboy gets his own novel! The standout character from SecondWorld is back, and is just as silly and wise-cracking as ever. A Czech cowboy Nazi hunter in Egypt? Madness. But incredibly enjoyable madness! I can only hope we get more from this character and that we get to read the follow on from the teased ending!

Not as good as the chess team and his other novels, I see he gets killed in the next book, I presume its him because he wears a 10 gallon hat. It was ok that he did't speak English properly, what can you expect from a Czech American. Still the story hung together ok, and was enjoyable but Jeremy please let him speak proper English. Please keep Jack and the Chess Team coming.
