Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition (Xbox One) by Blizzard Entertainment

I had the Xbox 360 version and it seemed okay. My girlfriend and I played it together but it did not stick. Fast forward a few years later and I just picked up this Xbox One version and it is terrific. Nice bump up in graphics compared to the 360 version. This is a great couch co-cop game in addition to being fun solo or on line. Once you hit level 70, which goes fairly fast, the game really just begins as you set out to upgrade your gear for your character(s). The real time combat in D3 is super fun and engaging. D3 is beaming with great level/creature design, color, sound and graphics.There are a lot of players out there that play with modded gear to run the level 150 Greater Rifts, which are frankly impossible to run without modded gear. I had some modded gear donated to me so I do use it to farm 150 Rifts, and while that is cool, I truly enjoy building the best gear sets possible for all my characters to run as high a level possible without the modded gear. Right now I am just starting most of my characters on Torment 11 and 12. Your non modded gear needs to be solid at this level as the creatures dish out considerably more damage, as well as take a lot more damage to bring down, particularly bosses and elites.It's a blast to play alone, couch co-op or on line. You cannot go wrong. I played the original Diablo on PC back in the day and loved it. This version is everything I had hoped for and wanted. D3 has been out now for years and with the recent port to the Nintendo Switch and the PS4 and Xbox One respectively in the passed couple years, now is a perfect time to give this game a go, as it has been seriously addicting for me. There are MANY hours of play for you and depending on your love/interest level for the game/characters. You can put as much or as little time in as you like. It's like World Of Warcraft lite. You can go at your own pace no need for 5, 10 or 25 players to raid etc... WoW is great too but it's a much deeper and time intensive game that depends mostly on you playing with other players, which is fine. In Diablo 3 you can accomplish much on your own or with other players, depending on your personal preference.Bring on Diablo 4 ASAP please Blizzard!Highly recommended!

I'd like to preface this review with the fact that I've been a huge Diablo fan since the games first came out for PC in 2000. I used to play Diablo 2 for hours on end as a teenager and it was my favorite game growing up. That being said, Diablo III had a lot to live up to in order to impress me.Overall I'm extremely happy happy with what Blizzard has done. There's a great story line and some appearances from characters in the past which adds an element of nostalgia. The graphics have greatly improved and look fantastic using my Xbox One S. I thought it may be difficult using a controller as opposed to the mouse and keyboard but it was a seamless transition and gameplay flows easily.Different from the old Diablo where you had to choose your skills you learn many different ones as you level up and get to choose which ones you want to use. It's different, but I like how it works. There's also a ton of items just like in the old Diablo which is one the highlights of the game. There aren't runestone combinations to add to socketed items like in Diablo II, but many items still have sockets you can add gems to for bonuses. There are a ton quests to do outside of the main game too which adds for extra hours of gameplay.One big difference from the old Diablo is that there isn't any trading online, which is probably the only con that I would say about the game.Overall extremely happy with this game and remains one of my favorites of all time. $30 is a steal. Thank you Blizzard for doing such a great job and not disappointing.

If you like or loved the Diablo series on the PC, you'll like or love this game.It has been 7+ years since I tried the free trial edition of Diablo 3 (after finishing D1 and D2). It was more ARPG goodness but I was burned out and never bought the full game for PC.When I got my first X-Box One console, I was looking for a selection of casual, fun games and ran across this dusty, moldy hidden treasure for a very affordable price.After I installed the game, I took it out for a test drive, fully intending on back burner-ing a game I knew and moving on to some of the other games I've never played. Fast forward three or four hours and I was still "trying out" D3!This game has quickly moved to near the top of my game list and I've been having a ball replaying the portions I played during the trial 7+ years ago and seeing everything I missed. It's not top of the line, jaw dropping graphics or cutting edge gaming concepts, it's just an extremely well made, extremely addictive Action RPG, which is to be expected since it's a Blizzard game (Starcraft, World of Warcraft for the PC).

I wish the digital coffee would be as cheap as the desk but I love the game so it’s worth it

They need a PvP engine and a way to get the tedious farming processes cut down so players can focus on the fun aspects of the game.Also the game crashes randomly with no reason.I think blizzard should shut down the servers for a week and fix the network bugs so players can come back and enjoy a smooth game.

Its Diablo 3. What else needs to be said at this point? Bought this on disc because it was a cheaper route to go than buying this and the newest DLC digitally. Disc + Necromancer DLC saved me 15 bucks. 😁

I enjoy playing this with my 11, 14, and 18 year-old. I turn off the blood, and it isn't any more violent than any other game out there today.

It was alright, a little too pricey for what you get. First act is good but everything afterwards is super repetitive and the bosses are all super easy.
