I bought two packs of these totaling 8 sticks and they were exactly what I was looking for. The knots on them make for a very unique look and the sticks can be either very smooth or crazy covered in knots so you’ll definitely get a variety in shapes, most are pretty straight whic was perfect for my needs. Almost every branch I received was 11-12” long so none were quite 15” but also not 9”I’m using them as a background in myPlanted aquarium and I can’t wait to see the outcome. I boiled all of the sticks in a giant pot of water for an hour to remove the tanins and help the wood absorb water and the water turned black! So ai definitely suggest boiling yours too if you plan on putting them in water

I recommend boiling them. I didn’t and they leached like crazy, tea staining the water for the first month. I agree with the other review regarding them producing a whiteish film. Doesn’t appear to be harmful though, but time will tell. Overall they added the depth and dimension to my freshwater aquarium and mimc the natural wooded look I was striving for. 😉

I feel like most of the time when I’ve bought wood for my aquariums (from other places/sellers) I’ve felt varying levels of disappointment/resignation. It’s often way too much money for way too little driftwood. But these are awesome!!! For one thing, they were actually the size advertised, and I feel like other people would charge the same price for one piece. Actually I KNOW they would, because I’ve bought it and hate myself for it lol. Wish I’d seen this seller before.The pieces themselves are really nice also, I love all the dark brown knots and the shapes are perfect for what I’m planning. And they shipped pretty fast as well. All around happy customer 10/10 will buy again

My video and picture doesn't do justice to the aesthetically pleasing pieces of wood. The pieces sent to me turned reddish in color (leeched tannins) after boiling and are laced in a dark almost black color. If I can figure out how to decorate a little better without a cluttered look I will pick up a few more pieces.

My four pieceses were all the size, about 7 inches. Still much cheaper than buying wood from a petstore.
