I ordered a different camera earlier this week for our upcoming vacation and was really disappointed with the quality. So I spent some time reviewing the other cameras on Amazon and decided to give it a chance. (It had some other great reviews on some photo sites.)It was delivered the next day and I immediately began testing it out.Key Learnings1. Set up is pretty straight forward. Was up and running in minutes.2. Tried both under water shots and above water shots with the waterproof case. WOW! Great photos and videos. My iPhone is my normal go to camera, but now I am going to be reaching for this guy anytime we are near water! I attached a few shots.3. Love the accessories and the bag. Will be good for taking on trips.4. Mobile App - downloaded the mobile App but had no luck connecting it to my camera. Was bummed that I couldn't get that up and running, but will continue to try soon and will update my review. The App isn't necessary. But it would have been nice if it worked as expected.All in all, this is a great camera. I am recommending it for people looking for an inexpensive and quality camera that will fit in your pocket.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I wanted an inexpensive camera to videotape snorkeling in Maui. This came with a waterproof housing that worked REALLY great. It had lots of other attachments, but I ended up putting the camera on a small hand-grip monopod that would float if I let go. The camera is small, so it's hard to hold steady, but the 60fps ended up smoothing it out. I thought it worked great! Excellent product for the $$. There are some technical problems bringing it into Final Cut Pro, but there is an easy work around. Just right-click the file and chose the "encode selected video file." I tried to get a good upload that reflected the camera's quality. It really is quite impressive.

I really didn't want to pay $200+ for a GoPro and I needed something that would function for my job so that my contractors could wear it while they did roof inspections. The first try with it did not go well. The camera stopped recording after five minutes and would start up again. A lot of important things were missed that I needed videoed. Thankfully, this inspection went well and video evidence won't be necessary. I'm glad that was the case as I was completely relying on this thing. The sound quality is abysmal. It is very hard to make out anything. It is distorted and garbled more than anything else.But alas, you get what you paid for. I took a chance on this item based on reviews, but I was pretty disappointed. On top of everything else, the company is attempting to get good reviews by offering product incentive which explains why there are so many good reviews for a not very good product. I'm really disappointed in this item and disappointed that Amazon allowed these incentive-based reviews to go through.EDIT: I have reduced the star rating down to one due to harassment by the seller. Because I will not remove my honest review, the seller has been harassing me since October. It is now May. I have reported them to Amazon.Edit 2: it is the end of July and the seller is still harrassing me. Amazon has done nothing to rectify this or to prevent it from continuing.

I just recently took a trip to Maui and used the camera for all of my underwater video, I was very surprised by the quality of video the camera took. I highly recommend to anyone who doesn't want to spend $300+ on a Go...

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Picked up this camera for our cruise to the Bahamas the end of January. I never have owned or used this type of camera before so I read a lot of reviews before buying. We decided upon this model because of the price point and simple to use design. The camera came with two batteries and a ton of accessories, but not a grip handle. I was able to purchase a floating grip handle from another Amazon seller for under $10 which fit and worked well. I also purchased a class 10 microSD card as recommended in the camera listing.Upon receiving the item I read the instruction booklet a few times - a little vague on some directions but will give you a general idea on using it. I also downloaded the app to my phone however I could not find a way to get it to accept a password for our internet. Will have to try and figure that out at a later date. I charged both batteries immediately so we would have a spare if needed while using. I would approximate 1 -1 &1/2 hours of constant use per battery. We used it about a half hour on land and then an hour in the water before receiving a low battery signal. Just a heads up it signals low and then immediately turns off. I wish I would have put the fresh battery in before we entered the water to snorkel, as it drained about ten minutes before we were done and I was unable to shoot those last few minutes.Overall I was thrilled with this camera! I have never used one and it was easy, remained steady (grip handle was a huge help) and yielded really nice photos and video both on land and underwater. The sound is not the best while using the waterproof case, but I expected as much. I simply popped the card out of camera and into the adapter, transferred the files to my pc and edited as needed. I've attached some in this review!

Je ne voulais pas payer pour une marque connue trop cher pour l'utilisation que je voulais en faire. J'ai opté pour celle-ci. Un excellent choix. Je ne regrette pas. Image de qualité. Facilité à transférer sur ordi. L'app est ordinaire cependant. La connectivité wifi avec la caméra et le iphone se perd facilement. De toute façon, ce n'est pas évident qu'on va sortir le cellulaire pour activer la caméra quand je suis dans un kayak... alors le boitier étanche permet d'appuyer sur les boutons pour la partir et l'arrêter. Il faut prendre le temps de bien apprendre les fonctions avant de s'en servir la première fois.Le manuel d'utilisation est minimaliste et n'est pas très utile une fois la caméra activée. Les options intéressantes que je ne connaissais pas comme Lapse, Loop,etc .. il faut trouver les instructions et Youtube d'une gopro et adapter au fonctionnement de CamPak.J'ai acheté aussi une carte 32g SanDisk car non incluse. Également je voulais les courroies pour installer sur le torse et sur la tête qui ne sont pas incluses avec l'appareil ni le support à suction pour les véhicules. J'ai acheté un kit en plus séparément. Les morceaux sont compatibles entre eux. Je recommande pour le rapport qualité-prix la caméra. Si vous n'êtes pas très porté sur les gadgets techno, le manuel d'instruction sera nettement insuffisant.

I have tried a few of these lower priced action cams now and honestly have not had much luck. The first had issues writing to the SD card so effectively would lock up the entire camera, the replacement did the same thing so I gave up. The second one worked great for about an hour then the buttons all started self-activating rapidly do matter what I tried so it went back also. This one actually seems to be what I was expecting, acceptable video quality, easy to use and actually works! My daughter has wanted an "underwater camera" for a while now, and also one to make little movies. I wanted wifi to download to her tablet for editing and this one seems to fit the bill. Wifi speed seems too slow to stream very well (lots of freezes and artifact) so maybe something to think about if you are using it for a drone etc. I have not done a ton of filming yet so I may change my review later but so far its exactly what I expected in this price range and even a bit exceeding them!

Cannot write a review on the camera because I’ve been unable to use it. Minimal Instructions to begin with have been translated from another language to English and the result is they do not make sense. I suppose you might also say the camera is not intuitive. Many many pieces for various purposes. Hoping to find a utube for assistance. Seems like this camera could be a very good thing if I could figure it out

Lo que me gusto: usa pilas universales (ademas viene con dos baterias). Las fotos salen buenisimas. Realmente se puede usar en el agua (albercas, mar) sin problema. Te sirve como camara para el auto. Mientras la tengas conectada al USB, grabas y grabas... no gasta la bateria.Lo que no me gusto: Usa tarjeta SD de 32GB maximo... en un viaje largo, se llena antes de completar el viaje.

Bought this to use for my underwater scuba trip (roughly 20 metres underwater) and was able to take videos and pictures no problem! While the picture quality isn't as good as the Go Pro (fairly close), the write speed to the memory card was almost instant (GoPro I had to wait a couple seconds to write to the card). Great price too and so far haven't had any issues (had the camera for 2 months so far).
