COLIBROX 36" - 24 Color Changing LED Hula Hoop - Cotton Candy Rainbow

Writing this review literally 5 years later lol. Still have this hoop to this day. It was my very first one as I didn’t know the right places to look for a performance hula hoop. If you’re wondering I’d check out Etsy and start off with a poly pro untapped hoop that’s smaller than 3/4. This hoop is 7/8 tubing I believe -which is big. That and it’s also made out of hdpe-which is heavier. So those things mixed with the led lights throughout and the weight of the battery it’s insanely heavy. Most LED hoops are heavy even the smaller more expensive ones but this one is a big one. It’s a great beginner LED hoop though especially for the price. The batteries that come with the hoop are great as well as the charger. I’m still using the charger to this day for other batteries.

The media could not be loaded.  Wow! We just received our new light-up hula hoop (made by Eco Groupe / ElectricLifestylz.com) and it has far exceeded our expectations! We ordered the 38" Cotton Candy Rainbow hoop with 26 color changing LED lights. It came with a rechargeable battery, a charger, a small wire hook used to remove the battery for recharging, and clear, well-written instructions. The battery was charged on arrival, which made unpacking and turning it on even more exciting. The hoop was cleverly rolled up to fit in a much smaller box (we were expecting a 38" x 38" box!) and all we had to do was remove the packing tape and allow it to return to it's normal shape (which took about 2 hours). The tube is white, translucent plastic that allows the color-changing LED lights to show through, and they have cleverly designed the switch so it is completely concealed in use. It looks spectacular in low-light, and the LED's constantly pulse and change colors leaving colorful patterns that look great in photos and video too! The video part of this review is about 45 seconds of us trying it out the first time.

5 stars for kids, and if you are a size 2. I'm size 12, this is very lite and hard to keep up. I took it to CABO for a big dance party. The little kids played with it for hours, even a 3 year old could hoop this. The girls with tiny waists could keep it up for a long time hooping, but anyone with a thicker waist had a harder time due to it's weight. Fortunately I also brought a heavier travel hoop so everyone had a chance to hula hoop. It needs to be just a little heavier so it's easier to hoop. Used both the chargeable and regular batteries, it worked great. The regular batteries lasted 6 hours before I turned it off. Probably would have lasted longer.

I read the reviews on this hoop quite thoroughly before i bought it. I saw mixed reviews, but decided to go for it. I've been hoping for 2 years, for a little background. One complaint i read was that the hoop is off balance. I thinkthis is to be expected, as it does contain a battery. That being said, it wasn't that big of an issue for me. The hoop is pretty solid construction,but i wouldn't use it as a practice hoop either way. I like that it comes with a battery and charger. Gets pretty good life span, but it's also nice to be able to use two double a batteries if it does die. Using double a batteries does make the hoop more of balance because you have to use two, but this is still alright. I'm enjoying this hoop quite a bit, and i can't wait for my summer night hoop sessions with this puppy.

i love this, i was worried after seeing other reviews saying their didnt work right or never even came.i got mine yesterday the 29th expected delivery was Wednesday, December 31, 2014 - Tuesday, January 6, 2015so i got it earlier than expected.the lights are amazing and very bright, they make beautiful patterns.it came with the rechargeable battery and charger :)and was coiled to fit in a large pizza shaped box if that makes sincei did have to add so grip/graffer tape to the inside, and its bettermy only complaint id the battery makes it a little uneven but not too bad, the option for one rechargeable or 2 AA id awesome, but id imagine 2 batteries would make it very unevenbut anyways, i am very satisfied for my first LED hoopi would defiantly recommend if u want to spend about $60

this is a good, basic, glowing hula hoop. the on/off function works smoothly and isn't too difficult even for my 6 and 9 year olds. b/c of the price, this was a birthday present for my 9-year old ($60 needs a special occasion chez nous). I wish it were cheaper, then I would give it 5-stars. however, compared to other LED hoops, it's probably not over-priced?my 9-year old also said she wished it were heavier, something to keep in mind if you are younger/smaller or new to hooping.

No instructions. Don't even know how to put batteries in it...and it took over 2 months to get here..

Purchased for my girlfriend as we are going to EDC this year. The battery that comes with it is a standard 14500 3.7v nominal lithium ion battery. The included charger works fine, and we are going to purchase more batteries so we can have all night run time. I cannot comment on how long the batteries last, but we have been showing it to friends all week since we received it and it is still going strong. The lights cycle through different modes (flashing/dimming in and out/etc) without control. The battery system is ingenious, just tighten the hoop down to the correct length (for either single lithium ion or two AA batteries) and it works perfect.
