POLARWomen's Snow Boots

I have 2 issues with these boots but I still give them 5 stars. My 2 problems are: They don't offer half sizes and eventually they start cracking and splitting. I bought my first pair at a thrift store for 12.00. They looked really nice when i bought them but I have no idea how old they were. After wearing them semi-regularly (maybe 3 months out of the year) for 2 years the sides of the toe box (on the outside) started cracking and splitting. There is some sort of white padding (that is a little fuzzy) underneath and it started poking out. I was so sad when they started looking really shabby, I even tried covering up the growing holes with black Shoe Goo but it was only a temporary fix that didn't look very good from a close distance.I was so excited when I saw that Amazon sells this exact boot. I decided to take the plunge and buy a new pair and I'm hoping that they'll last at least as long as my thrift store pair. I normally wear a 6.5 so I really wish they had half sizes but I bought a 7 and a thick insole and it's fine. They still don't have an ideal fit for me but they are so comfortable that I don't even notice it most of the time and at least I have plenty of toe room.My ankles and calves are very slim so it is difficult for me to find taller boots that fit somewhat snugly on my legs and these look great. They have a stretchy sweater like top and laces that can be adjusted so I think that they would work for 80% of people. I like the thin white stitching detail, I think it gives them personality while still being neutral enough to wear with most things. I tend to wear tight pants and these fit over them beautifully but also fit under my snow pants in the winter with no problem. These boots are pretty warm even though they don't look bulky and in fact are warmer than some bulkier boots that I have. They have nice soft rubbery grippy soles and a side zipper that makes them easy to take on and off. I'm a huge fan and if these ever go on sale I will buy a back up pair.

I have to walk ~30 min to work everyday, often on snowy/icy sidewalks. Since getting these boots, I make the trek with much more secure footing. They keep my toes nice and toasty. Snow proof, and dry quickly. The fur lining is comfy, so I can wear shorter socks if I need to. And they're tall enough to keep my ankles warm and dry if I need to step into deep snow. I also like that they fit snugly around the leg, so I can fit them under my wide-leg office pants and they look normal and office appropriate -- no need to change shoes when I get to work. About to buy another pair in a different color.

They are super warm, water proof and great for snow and New England winters. Just tested them out in a storm where we got snow, sleet/freezing rain and rain and I stayed warm and dry. The fur lining is nice and comfy.That being said, definitely size up. I'm a size 8 typically and I got a 9 thinking that would be enough for adding in thick socks, etc, but I even think the 9 is a bit too snug for thick socks, etc. Also, the calves are super tight fitting. Like you would not be able to wear these over your jeans, etc. They will go over a pair of leggings but it was tight zipping it up. The product information says they're lace closure but the laces are really just there for show, they are zipper boots.They are really nice looking, warm and waterproof though!

These boots are gorgeous! Not just that; they appear well-made and are super comfortable. I usually wear a size 8 to 8.5 in closed shoes (sandals 7.5). I ordered a 9 because I wanted toe-room, sock-room and bunion room. Mission accomplished! The fit is perfect. I just took a little stroll around the block and let me tell you, they feel like a dream right out of the box! The fur lining feels warm and cozy. The soles have a great grip. I can't find any problems with stitching etc. The zipper looks good, however I was able to slide into the boots without having to use them. I simply love these boots and I recommend them highly. Two thumbs up!

I don’t even remember the last time I left an Amazon review but I feel compelled to because these boots are FLAWLESS. I work on a dairy farm so I put these things through the wringer immediately through below freezing temps and VERY muddy pastures every single day and they were completely up to the task. My feet stay toasty warm and dry the whole day which is sooo important for my job and overall morale at work! I also have a Morton’s neuroma in my left foot which makes finding comfortable winter boots very challenging and I’m telling you, I could sleep in these things haha. The zipper on the side makes them so easy to put on and take off and after all the wear and tear I’ve put them through, they show no signs of stopping. I couldn’t recommend them any higher!
