These bright LED bulbs have performed well for many months of nightly use in our outdoorMalibu Temple Lights set. The low electricity use in LED bulbs also doesn't tax the transformer.

A very reliable and bright led bulb

These are well made lights which I purchased for Malibu lights on my deck. These are just a hint longer than the incandescent bulbs and they are slightly cooler (whiter) than the old style incandescent bulbs. As a result of the cooler light, they don't quite match the light from the other bulbs. My guess is that they are closer to 3000k than the 2700k of an incandescent bulb . They are also brighter than the 7 watt bulbs being replaced. I don't mind the extra brightness, but wish they were slightly warmer (more yellow). To be clear, they are not the cold bluish color of some bulbs.

Updated 04/28/2022: A majority of my initial order from 2 years ago, needed to be replaced. Between 1 & 3 of the four vertical rows of LED's had gone out, so they were rather dim. I now have them on all year, an average of 11 hours every night so over the last two years they've lasted between 7,500 & 8,000 hours before needing replacement. Not a bad investment compared to the cost of the halogens they replaced, that had to be replaced every season after about 1,000 hours of use.Updated 05/08/2021: It's been nearly a year and only 1 bulb failed, the same as mentioned in another post, one of the two wires for the base connection had come out of the bulb. From the look of the solder on the wire, it looked like a cold (poor) solder connection caused the failure.Original post 5/18/2020: Two of my three 120w transformers died and rather than spend $140- $150 each for new transformers, I decided to reduce my wattage to have everything work on the remaining transformer. I replaced all of my 11w halogens with these LEDs, as the color and lumens (brightness) was very close to that of the halogens they were replacing.The product description said they were bright, and I found them to be only slightly brighter and a little less yellow (warm) then the halogens they replaced.All in all I spent less than $60 on led bulbs (these 20 plus six landscape flood light bulbs). A considerable $$ savings and I went from 380 watts to 41 watts.The single lamp is with the original halogen bulb, the multiple lights all have the new leds. The camera actually shows a brighter image than actual, but you can see the light is nearly the same in both images.

Easy to install, nice and bright.

Initial bulbs burnt out after a few weeks, but now that I have replaced the 12 AC transformer with an LED driver power supply (driver connected to 110 AC)... they are burning cool and evenly. I purchased these because the standard bulbs needed replacing every few weeks. They are a warm light that's brighter than the original 7 watt that Malibu suggested and they are rated at 1 watt. I am completely satisfied. No issue with the bulbs or the delivery. FYI - they are slightly longer ( approx. 2mm ) , but worked perfectly as a Malibu replacement.

These bulbs are the perfect replacement for my 7 watt landscape lights. They use less than a watt each, and should save me about $30 annually in electricity costs. The color is great. They give off a warm white glow, slightly whiter than the incandescents. They are also a little brighter than the 7 watt bulbs.
