Effective Wound Clotting Agent in Easiest Packaging in Bidnis
Comparing this to Celox, I find that they both work quickly to dry up- and clot- the wound site, but this one is just plain easier to use because unlike the Celox powder packages that you have to tear open and douse on the site, this one just twists the cap and you have a tighter opening to be more accurate with applying it. What the tube design also gives you is basically what the Celox-A delivers, the option to put it inside a wound and fill the site in case of deep bleeding sites (bullet holes or shrapnel wounds or raw punctures from animals or sticks (during falls). Basically, this is a more do-it-all applicator, whereas with Celox you have to get the one for surfactant wounds versus deep wounds. And let's not forget, when you need to use something like this, it's always going to be an emergency, because even smaller flesh wounds that bleed enough to warrant this raise the question as to how bad they are, at first glance. So, you're never breaking these out because someone got a "boo boo". This is for real, bleeding wounds. That means SECONDS COUNT and you must be able to use GROSS MOTOR MOVEMENTS to apply this quickly and effectively. ...especially if you're the patient you have to use it on. So, be ready with something that's easy to open, and easy to apply. THESE TUBES DO THAT JOB. Now, they are small, so be prepared to open more than one if need be, but that's also not a bad thing in my view, because it's not like you have to use a giant package for a tiny wound and later feel like it was wasted. If you have to open three of these for a deep wound, do. But they're light and easy to carry in DIY field kits or pro IFAK replacements.Keep them in your home (near kitchen and workshop), office, and, can't emphasize this enough- car.

This product works immediately to stop the blood flow
I am a retired military individual with much experience in performing first aid on minor cuts and skin tears. Having to used gauze and tape to try to stop blood on somewhat minor but free flowing cuts or tears especially on someone who is on a blood thinner has always been challenging. Here is where this product is really outstanding. I have been on warfarin for many years due to having Afib. I procured some of this product years ago to take with me in my vehicles and it has really been miracle in stopping blood flow from cuts on several occasions and I used it recently when I nearly cut my thumb off on a sliding door which had a sharp edge and I ran my thumb up and was cut rather bad on the sharp edge I did not know existed. I went into the bathroom and found two(2) tubes of this product and placed them on it and, it does burn some, but the blood flow stopped immediately and a week later you could not tell I had been cut bad except some peeling skin. It is a really great product.

Stops bleeding immediately
This product stops bleeding almost immediately. We keep them in the vehicles we drive and some at home. It is a powder, not a gel or ointment. Works better than what we used to get over the counter. We will continue to order from this company.

An inexpensive and effective First Aid for cuts , Scrapes and abrasions
I felt, resulting having a deep cut in my left ear. I was (and still is) on a blood thinner treatment for my high blood pressure (aspirin 81mg). No matter we did, the ear did not stop bleeding for two hours, threatening to become a major emergency. Fortunately, my daughter look up the internet and found this medicine on sales at a local pharmacy. She went, look at it, discussed with the pharmacist and decided to bring home, tried it since it is not expensive, worth a try compared to the cost of an emergency visit. She squeezed the medicine on a Q-tip and clean my cut. I felt a sensation of heat, not burning. The bleeding stopped almost instantly, forming a scab over the cut. We followed the instructions of the package and leaved the wound alone, after a few days the scab fell out and my ear healed nicely.

Do not use internally
This is essential for those on blood thinners for that occasional cut from shaving or nail clippers, etc. This is not meant to handle a deep cut that bleeds very heavily & definately it is not for internal use for ulcers, bleeding hemmoroids injuries inside the eyes, mouth, etc. If you pricked your finger with a rose thorn or your bleeding from a small cut, this is great. We always have it on us for emergency use until we can get medical care if required. Wish it had a better application system--you are basically just shaking on the injury & getting the rest of the "dust" all over, but it works. Too expensive for what it is, but necessary as first aid if you use blood thinners or often get little cuts.
