Petian Large Base Cat Tree 51" Tall

This cat tree was pretty easy to put together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took about 20 minutes to assemble. My cats began jumping onto it immediately and over an hour later, they're still napping on it! Even our dog likes it! When they jump on the higher tiers there is a little wobbling but I would say that's normal. I can't imagine my cats using the hammock, they haven't approached it yet but we'll see what the future holds. It seems sturdy, I do hope it lasts longer than their last cat tree which was about a year.

Sturdy, nice soft material. Not sure how long it would last, though. Definitely not for cats over 7 pounds. Better for kittens. Our 12 pound guys couldn't fit on the platforms or in the house, and the hammock was not even close to big enough. Actually, I think it would be a great climber for ferrets. Instructions are a pain. Yes, you can look at the picture for where each piece goes, but trying to figure out which screws were P or Q or R was difficult. Pay attention to the measurement provided for each screw (which are in metric). Still, only 30 minutes to put together. We're returning it because of the size issues, but over all it seems like a good product. Wish description had included measurements.

Tree has much sharper edges then what you would find in a pets mart. Also, if you have a heavier cat (one of mine is 19 pounds) then this tree will not work for them. The first time my cat climbed to the top I thought that he was going to rip the second tier off (it's attached with one screw). Also my cats managed to remove the hanging toys from the tree within the first few hours of it being assembled. That being said it was easy to put together, and my smaller cat (11/12 pounds) has no problem with it. They ignore the hammock, but since the strings that attach it are very thin it's probably for the best.This tree would work well for kittens and smaller cat breeds. I will probably throw it away and buy a sturdier one from pets mart.

Our cats absolutely love this tree! The assembly was a bit confusion, but it's a great setup for cats who are older or who don't have their claws. Many trees have their top most platform almost unreachable or often unstable for cats who are not young or have no claws. This is very accessible.My one complaint, and others have had this too, is that the platforms are a little too small and don't really have padding. I easily fixed the padding issue by cutting out some squares of fleece and lining it, however; we will have to figure out a workaround for the size of the platforms. Our cats aren't that big (6 and 8 lbs), but even for them, they fill the platform easily and would be more comfortable with a larger platform.

I got this to replace an older, flimsier model that my fat cat (roughly 20 pounds) kept almost toppling. This one holds up a lot better to his climbing, my other cat who is much smaller also loves it. Only a fairly small cat will fit in the little hut, but the platforms are good sized. It also goes together easily (even with the rather generic set of instructions), definitely a good investment.

Amazing cat tree! I agree with some of the other reviews in the fact that I wish there was more clear directions but my friend and I figured it out and built it in about 30 minutes! Great buy and my boys love it!!😻

I bought this to keep my one year old Siamese mix cat busy and comfortable (not necessarily in that order) while I'm at work. He was on it right away playing with the swinging balls and instinctively must have known it was for him. It was very easy to assemble, but plan on about 30-45 minutes to do so. The measurements are in metric since the product is made in China so that took a bit to get used to, but the good thing is there are diagrams and item count of the pieces so this helps you figure out what goes where. There is extra hardware so don't let that confuse you. But you do need to pay attention as some of the pieces do look a lot alike as does the hardware.
