AWESOME!
Made sighting in my new pistol quick, easy and inexpensive by saving money on extra ammo I'd usually have to use.

This item is well built and very sturdy. It simply does the job
This is NOT a luxury item.#1 Range costs are expensive.#2 My time is important and this is a tremendous TIME SAVER on the range. That makes this an essential tool for getting pistols scoped and quickly getting back enjoying shooting. This item is well built and very sturdy. It simply does the job. If you are using this item for a club where you check multiple guns you will LOVE this product. It you want to confirm zero quickly and get out and enjoy your handgun hunting, you will LOVE this product. I just wish our 4H and American Legion clubs had these YEARS ago. And I hope we can add 2 or 3 more to the club inventory soon. Everyone who tries this says they simply MUST have one of their own. Can you tell I really like this product?

It works and it's simple. Not perfect but good enough.
It works. I had my red dot sight aligned in 5 minutes. It's important to understand this is not a shooting platform. You don't fire the gun while in the clamps. It's just a tool for aligning your sights. A few wishes: the soft pads are backed with weak ashesive and fell off immediately. The bolts used to assemble the base are too close to the uprights to get a wrench on them. There is too much play in the sliding rods and it allows some wiggle. I suspect that in order to make this really precise and solid the price would have to be 3-4 times what it is. It still works, but it's not what I'd call "industrial strength". If your handgun has a light mounted under the barrel it's best to remove it before using this sighting rest. If you have a laser there, same deal. You can always align your hard sights and/or red dot in the sighting rest, then mount your light/laser and align that to the red dot.

Not the best quality, but works great
It's a very easy way to zero in your red dot. And for the price you cant go wrong.Update:I have used this a couple of times now on different sights and guns. It makes everything so extremely easy to get everything done. It literally takes three shots and then you're done. For the price it's a great help. So much better result then to do it "manually".Turn it around and use the "Y" as a support when aiming. Shoot three shots. Find the center of the hits. Turn it around again and fasten your gun in the rest. Make sure you are aiming the gun at the exact same spot as you aimed when you fired the shots. Be gentle and set the red dot to where youre shots hit. Take off the gun and youre set. Super easy and super fast.

Quality Rifle Rest
I never shot from a fixed rifle rest but for checking bore site and confirming zero, there is nothing better than a quality rest. This is a heavy rifle rest which is necessary for various size and calibers of rifles. I’ve been putting off this purchase for some time but after picking up several new sights, I realized it was finally time to buy a rest. This fits many different rifles (length, caliber, various types of accessories). It is easy to set up and adjust and really saves ammunition during the zero process. I highly recommend this rifle rest.

Arrived with 1 front leveling foot detached and rattling in the box
Reduced rating because of poor quality assembly hardware. I bought this stand to sight in replacement suppressor height sights on my EDC and zero the red dot optic necessitating the change of the factory iron sights. The main components seem to be welded correctly, but they used questionable hardware such as screws that were 1 size too small attaching the leveling feet and inferior circlips, just stamped metal not spring steel, on the spacing rods. I was able to reattach the leveling foot using a nylon shim made from a small cable tie because the attaching screw was too small to tighten in the threads of the adjuster. The circlips on the spacing rods were already displaced from their notches in the rods. I removed both and tightened them up with pliers that would not have been possible if they were spring steel. Then as carefully as possible, used a circlip tool to open them just enough to slide them back into place. This operation was successful but both were loose in their retainer slots because the circlips stretched out again with just the force needed to open them up just enough to slide them down the bars back to the retaining notches. I may have to get some proper spring steel circlips or tighten these with a twisted staple or other small steel wire in the holes of the circlips to pull them tight in their retaining notches. The grip clamps are very wobbly in the threads of the stand like these adjusters are too small for the weld nuts on the stand, but did hold well enough to make the sight adjustments.

ZERO STARS! ZERO! ...FOR "WARMTH". 5 STARS FOR ALL OTHER FEATURES.
One of the Amazon feature ratings is "warmth", and I feel cheated in that my sighting rest is, in fact, only room temperature. Scammed! Deceived! But for the purposes of sighting in my pistol, it works just fine. I will say that if you plan on using this at the range on a shooting bench/table/etc. that lacks a rubber surface or similar, you'd be well served bringing some trigger clamps. It is very precise and the firearm won't wiggle around on you, but despite the rubber feet on this thing, the whole assembly will absolutely shift a bit on a wooden or concrete table.Thankfully I keep some clamps in my vehicle, and after noticing the RMR was slightly shifted off target I clamped the whole thing down and sighted in without a hitch. Did three pistols in a row, 5 rounds each at 20 yards, and every shot afterwards was perfectly grouped on target. Love this thing, especially for the cost!
