I bought three of these to light up specimen plants. They are not too bright, about 65 lumens, making them perfect to place close to an object. I used one in a pot for a trellis plant, which beautifully lights the entire trellis. On the down side: the wire connector works best with larger guage wire. I had difficulty getting a good connection with 18ga wire running from my trunk power line to the light fixture. Even worse, the connector is a fussy two-piece device that interlocks its two halfs. Taking it apart requires you to squeeze the clips on each side while pulling on tabs on each side. Human hands are not made for this operation and swearing did not help!

The locking mechanism for the telescoping feature would not work. It just would not tighten down enough to hold the light in place. Made it work with black tape but, really, Malibu? That’s the best you can do?

Great product, nice light radius and very sturdy.

While the construction could be more robust, the outcome is excellent, lighting a backyard fountain. I have tried on numerous occasions to get the right “look,” unsuccessfully until now. Beautiful and nearly perfect. I would have like to see the extension secure tighter, not easily sliding.

The light is perfect for what I need it.I had bought 10 of these light from home Depot, after 3 years only 1 of them went bad. I was told it has 5 years warranties, but Hope Depot not selling them anymore.
