Best sharpening system I've used
I also own the tormek and wolverine systems and prefer the pro edge for a quick extremely sharp edge.I find it easier to use with regards to consistent angles, especially skew chisels.Jigs are simple to use, and belt changes are quick and easy.

Should have bought this a long time ago
I have been considering this sharpening aid for a long time and finally came to the conclusion that it was worth the price. It does a far better job on sharpening my lathe tools than my wheel grinder and is far easier to maintain a consistent and repeatable angle. I also looked at CBN wheels and the cost would have been similar but would have left me without as predictable results for the sharpening angle.

Had hped I could use the guides from std platform
would have liked it better if there was a way to secure the tool guide that is used on the standard tool platform. Would have liked to have a guide available for the short tool rest like the standard.

Gotta have this for the shorter chisels. Works okay. Wish there was some kind of small grove or attachment for the 90 degree square chisel jig.
