Beautiful vibrant colors in this Terra Cotta set. I added a 6th color (Mossy Meadow) to refresh our rubber welcome mats. The 2nd picture is the original mat color and the 1st is how the mat has worn over a 3 year period. The FolkArt paint set made the mat look even better with the new bright colors (3rd pic). I did not paint the outer border of each mat. The paint coverage on the rubber mat was very good and I only had to do one coat. There was one of the colors in the set that was partially dried up and I couldn't squeeze the paint out of the bottle. I don't know how that happened because each bottle was nicely sealed and packaged. However, stirring in a few drops of water helped a lot and I was able to use that color. The paint is labeled as indoor/outdoor so I hope these paints wear well. It certainly saved me a lot of money by repainting them. I think a pair of these mats new would cost about $80. It's nice to know that if I want to completely change the color scheme, I can do that. It did take me a while to paint these but it was worth it. I would recommend these paints.

Worked well for me. I was painting a spirit animal for a project and needed the "claypot" color. Went on easy and coverd easily. Actually coverd better than a lot of acrylic paints do.

The range of hues makes for an excellent flesh tone selection. Of course it doesn’t cover ALL flesh tones, but it’s a good start.

The texture is amazing, still dries quickly. This set has perfect consistency and thickness making it very durable. Priced well for a specialty paint. Highly recommend this beautiful terra cotta set.

Nice paint. Goes on smoothly. Good coverage. Dried texture is barely noticeable but looks well after matt varnish.

I used these paints for an end-of-year school project with my 3rd–6th grade students. We were creating Martian habitats and needed realistic shades to paint the Martian ground. These colors were spot-on and worked great for our needs! With 20 students using them, we went through most of the set, but the paints held up well and applied nicely. I'd definitely consider buying them again for future projects.

I hosted an Italian dinner and needed several terracotta vases for olive branch “bouquets”. I couldn’t find what I wanted so I grabbed vases in the clearance section at a craft store and painted them with this paint. These were perfect! I used a combination of colors to obtain a perfect patina.
