For being $180, and touting their quality, this set of headphones are underwhelming and uncomfortable.The sound stage does not hold up for that price-point, and the response is not as dynamic as other competitors in this price-range. You could easily pick up the Audio-Technica A 30/40s set and run in to fewer problems (Although I am not a fan of AT either).It comes down to 3 things.1. Modularity: A very cool idea, but poor execution. The build is lightweight, but oftentimes flimsy. The headband is quite uncomfortable and the earcups (even when positioned correctly on the peg-line, similar to the strap of a baseball cap) will irritate after an hour or so. The pinching force is rather annoying. Also, DO NOT mistake this for a ear-enclosed cup, instead they are on-ear for most people. 3 of my Dorm-mates tried it on and they all said it rested the speaker directly on their ears without cushion or comfort.2. The Bass response is not really all that compelling, even as a mixing headphone that usually is intended for a flat, neutral tone. It simply does not pick up the bass well without overdoing the volume or extensive EQ-ing.3. The return policy is anchored to the modularity (that is to say, the headphones come as a collection of parts, rather than a single piece, one you have to build) and you will find that your money will not return if you have issues or if one of the myriad parts doesn't work. That is truly egregious practice in modern sales.Verdict: Unless you are DJ-ing or Mixing Live, these are 100% a poorly-informed choice.

Son unos audífonos espectaculares, en cuanto al sonido se refiere, son cálidos, realsan un poco los bajos sin ser invasivos, y tampoco dejan de lucir los graves y agudos, no son para nada planos, a mí me gustaron mucho, es justo lo que buscaba, lo único malo es que no se sienten tan premium en cuanto a los materiales se refiere

I am not an expert evaluating sound by any means, but i have had a fare amount of headphones over the years and this are by far the best sound wise. They are sharp and detailed but also warm and bassy. They just feel perfectly balanced. The design is one of the best you will find on any other headphone and they are very comfortable to wear, they stay put, don't cram and also don't overheat your ears. My only complain/concern would be that the materials are really not the best, they don't feel cheap but they also don't look and feel like the price you are paying for them. At this price point I don't expect to see molding lines or glue residue on some parts; it is not enough to rest an entire star but it is something to take into account
