Hi Joel,  Thanks for your question. It is considered as one size fits all which I understand makes online shopping tricky.
The Vest would fit between an average 4 - 6 year old regular sized child depending on the size of the child.  The Vest is 19 inches in length and 15 inches across.  If you purchase it and have any size issues, please feel free to contact me and I will help.

Hi, will this fit a 8 year old or will it be too small?

Hi, Thank you for your question. The Vest is 31ins in diameter around the chest. If you are unable to measure the child, the Vest would fit up to an 8 to 10 year old, depending on the size of the child. I have an 8 year old and the Vest is very snug on him and a 10 year old with plenty of room to spare. If it doesn't fit your child, please feel free to return it.
