My wife gets mad at me when I came in from the garage and touch the kitchen paper towel while trying to tear off a sheet. She found this automatic dispenser on Amazon. I installed it under our kitchen cabinets and its works great. Setup for sheet size was simple (just need to be quick to grab what you want before it retracts). A simple gesture pops out one or more sheets as required and I love that it retracts back into the unit if I trigger it by mistake. The sensitivity is just right. I have cupboards above it and a breadbin below it and it hasn't triggered by mistake yet. A nice addition to our kitchen and it'll stop me getting shouted at!

Love this, I waited for some time before reviewing in case it broke down, but it has function great since the day I got it I’m so pleased no more playing with paper towel holders this thing read your mind

A carpenter who was in my home working on something else installed it under a kitchen cabinet for me right on top of an AC outlet. (Didn’t think it worked by battery, did you?)I was always shifting a huge roll of paper towels all over the kitchen ; on top of the sink, next to my toaster or on the island. No matter where I placed it, it was an eyesore.Being a gadget technical person I. Spotted this on Amazon, or course. You hold your hand in front of the unit and it will dispense your towel. You can set it to dispense a large number of towels pre one half towel, which is what I use.First time I used it, it dispensed about four full towels and I said this thing is broken! However that is not the case. Clever design allows to to take as many full or half towels that you want and then, retracts all the unused towels back into the dispenser. I’ve been using it to dispense an already slit half towel and then it sucks it right up.I found that if your take a half towel out, after a few times it will only dispense a half towel which is all I need. If I need more towels, I hold my hand in front of the sensor and it will dispense as many as you need, If I need four full towels I hold my hand over the sensor and out comes about four or five towels. You tear off what you need and again, it retracts the roll until next time!I find it looks better than having the towels all over my kitchen and I don’t waste towels any more pulling out too many. I like this dispenser but you have to realize one fact; pull out as many towels that you need by holding your hand over the front sensor, but realize you have to accomplish this prior to the unit retracting all the towels. I have a great quote from my grandson who asked, “ Grandpa, why does it eat the towels?” Well now you know. One last thing, I purchase the huge rolls of towels from BJ’s and they fit in the dispenser with no problem, thus far .

Great product!!! But it jams sometimes fro the way we are use to tearing paper towel off and ripping from one side to next this sometime causes the paper towel to bunch up in front and jam. So I got use to tearing off with that caution. But the convenience. Look and coolness of the product makes it worth it it always becomes a talking point when friends or families come by. Hope this helps on the development of upgraded product . Maybe put some sort of bar at exit to hold paper towel in place.That’s my 2cents

We love ours. Fits well under the cabinet. Very easy to set up and use. Once set up, you just put your hand in front of the sensor and it will put out what you have it set to. If you need more just keep your hand there and it will spit out more. Easy to tear off. We’ve been having ours for over a year now and haven’t had any issues. We do find cheaper thin paper towels don’t work as well and get jammed easier. The nicer thicker ones work much better and that’s ok with us. It’s worth the investment. We loved ours so much we bought a second one as a gift when our son bought a home. I’ve been thru a few paper towel holders and prefer this much better.

I bought one in October, 2024 and it worked pretty good until recently. The paper towels started feeding back into the dispenser crooked, so the towels would jam up. After visual troubleshooting with their Rep, she was able to see what the dispenser was doing so they sent me another one. Their warranty information states they will provide a new or refurbished replacement so you buy a brand new one, and probably keep getting ones that were returned. It arrived within a few days and the very first time I tried to use it, it did the same thing. I even tried a different brand of paper towels. Aside from being thoroughly disappointed, I'm now out of my money with 2 units that don't work. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because the Troubleshooting Rep was great. As for the other 4 stars, this product is not worth the trouble of installing it under your counter. It sucks to be out of $100 because it doesn't act up in the first 30 days and there's no need to keep replacing it during your year warranty, because it just frustrates you more.
