I've used this for a couple weeks now and overall I'm pretty impressed. It does take a bit to get used to but you'll get there. You will definitely use less product and none is left behind on it like other sponges. Once you get used to it your foundation will look flawless. I've also used it with a liquid bronzer as contour and cream blush, both turned out quite well. It's much stiffer than a beauty blender and that's probably it's only flaw. I haven't used it with any powders or eye makeup so nothing to say about that

Extra step with this isn't necessary
Bought for my wife as she wanted to try it.Words from her, " It looks like it'll smear rather than blend, but I'd like to try it".This product did exactly that, it's terrible at blending but it will save alot of product by not soaking up the product like a sponge does.So all in all of you want to save product and don't mind an extra step then it's great, but whatever helps my wife finish her make up faster I'm okay with. She doesn't use this because it takes a bit longer to get the make up on.

Saves so much foundation.
I used to hate wasting so much product on brushes or my beauty blender, then I got these. All the foundation gets on my face instead of my applicator. The only downside is that it is kinda awkward to hold. I eventually figured out how to position it in my hand to make it work, so now I love it.

Great sponge, for my purposes!!
They work well, but I think I still prefer my wet sponge. I get a more natural look with it. I have found a better use for this... I use it to mix my liquid foundation, face serum, and moisturizer all together. Then I take the mixture and apply to my face with the dampened sponge. It works fantastic! And since the silicone sponge is non-porous, I don't have to worry about bacteria every time I mix my items, because it can be washed off with warm soapy water as I am washing my hands. I have received more compliments on my cosmetic application since doing this than any time in the past.

Iffy.
Hm...this is definitely a hate it or love it kind of product. It definitely depends on the foundation consistency because I'be used a mousse AND a cream & it just kind of smeared them around. The sponge is difficult to hold onto too because of the shape so practice is a must. I don't know if I'd suggest this to others, but if you're adventurous in makeup techniques, at least you can cross this off your bucket list.

Honestly, just disappointed.
1) Look at other reviews and questions. There is a "membrane" on this. It doesn't feel like silicone. It feels like silicone wrapped in a soft plastic. The feeling of the sponge itself just irks me.2) It does not blend makeup into skin. Like other reviews say, it's okay at smearing the makeup around, but that's all it does. I had to go back with my $5 Elf beauty blender to finish the job.3) The proportions aren't what I would like. Some people say it's too big to get in small areas, but I also think it's too small to get a good grip of. And the thickness of it makes it awkward for the bouncing/beating that you need to get a good blend.

Didn't work for me :(
I was excited about the premise of not wasting my foundation with a beauty blender since the silicone is non porous. I tried applying my make up a few times over the course of 2 weeks with the silicone sponge and unfortunately I couldn't get the same flawless blend I had with the beauty blender or brushes. I have nothing against the quality or manufacturing of the product, it just didn't do what I expected for my makeup application. I'm sticking to my brushes since it seems to blend well enough while not absorbing all my foundation. If there's a trick to applying foundation with the silicone sponge and preventing my makeup from looking streaked, please let me know.

Mostly satisfied, still learning
Service and delivery from this seller was excellent. I like the SilicSponge, but find I do have to use my fingers or a small sponge to achieve touch-ups. I will continue to work with it because I love the smooth feel and ability to wash the 'sponge' after every use.
