HurttaCooling Wrap, Aquamarine, 34-38 in

I purchased it for my rotty whom I compete in obedience trials. We live in Phoenix (hot) and she doesn't perform well in the heat. When I put it on her she seemed confused about what she should do and I think it will take some getting used to before it does not interfere with her training.

I live in South Florida and walking my Golden at any time of the day is like walking her in an oven. I have another cooling vest for her but it kept sliding to the side and moving in awkward ways; when I saw this design I thought it genius! It wraps around your dog's body so well! I'm in love! The pink color is beautiful and I've used Harnesses over it without a problem. I've noticed a big change in how fast my dog recovers from a hot walk and now she is able to go longer with this on. When we stop for a drink anything she leaves behind in her collapsible bowl, I just pour over the vest to keep it wet and cooling. Although some people complain about the wrap design, I feel this is the best part! It takes some getting used to, but once you got the hang of it, it's super simple to get on.

The design is great but the chemical smells is overwhelming.

I've had cooling vests in the past, and while they helped cool down my dog, they never fit well, and looked uncomfortable. I'm a big fan of this brand, so I decided to upgrade when they had a sale.The size ordered was the 26 to 30 inch, and my dog has a 29 inch chest. It fits my Amstaff (pit bull) really well, easily accommodating her large chest and neck while staying snug. The strap and hook mechanism takes a few tries to figure out, but since then its been easy to put on. Just make sure the buckle snaps are perpendicular to each other when pushing together to attach the strap securely.The blue or pink might look better. I got the yellow and it looks a bit like an old granny knit sweater lol, but I'm happy with it.

The latch is plastic that is impossible to open and easy to break. I did not even attempt to try this on my dog as trying to unravel it and get it on my dog was more difficult than I thought. I returned the cooling wrap.

Die Kühlweste ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Man merkt deutlich, dass sich der Hund wohler fühlt. Das Fell ist leicht feucht, aber nicht nass. Einziger Stern Abzug : das An-und Ausziehen. Das ist schon ein Gepfrimel. Wir für uns haben es so gelöst, dass wir den Gurt nicht komplett öffnen, dann geht das ein wenig zügiger. Wie schon einige hier berichtet haben, erscheint der Verschluss so, als würde er schnell brechen, ich finde, man muss nur genau hinsehen, daß innere Teil ist nicht komplett rund. Man dreht das Teil also, bis man es herausziehen kann.Dass so eine Weste schwerer wird, wenn sie nass gemacht wird, ist klar, aber auch hier ist das minimal und mein kleiner Hund ist nicht beeinträchtigt. Alles in allem, aufgrund des Kühleffektes und weil mein Hund sich bei Hitze damit deutlich wohler fühlt, empfehle ich die Weste trotzdem.

Wir habe dies für unseren Shi Tzu gekauft. Empfohlene Größe passt und haben sie nun auch schon 2x ausprobiert. Skeptisch am Anfang aber es funktioniert wirklich gut. Trotz der aktuellen Hitze hechelt er viel weniger. Das Fell ist auch nur Feucht und nicht nass. Geht auch sehr gut mit einem kleinen Geschirr.
