I just got mine yesterday, and it looks and feels like good quality. The stitching is solid, with no visible defects - which is always nice! The best part of this holder is that it gets the knife out of your pocket, and keeps it (very) comfortably out of the way. The push-through design is an absolute plus as well - my knife pops right out - faster than trying to remove it from my pocket even when clipped! One word of advice for prospective customers: I purchased the "small", so it may be different for the medium, but this pouch does not work very well with my reverse-clip knife (where the clip is at the bottom of the knife, so it holds the knife upside down when in your pocket). It is difficult to try and push the knife either into or out of the pouch because you have to really work to shove the larger/thicker top of the knife into/out of the opening. If the clip is at the top of the knife then it goes into the pouch easily when inserting it bottom first. I would definitely recommend this - and am thinking of buying a few for my co-workers!

I bought this for my husband because he was saying that the vertical sheaths were rubbing his work pants weird and it was uncomfortable. His first day back at the factory he works at, he said a few of his guy coworkers said it was nice. The following days it seemed to be the talk of the factory because he asked me to send him the link to it so he could send it to a bunch of the other guys he works with. Apparently it's the talk of the factory. Nice thick leather. Stitching looks good and adequate. Fits his belt.

I had to try a couple of different knife combinations and both sizes of this sheath to find something that worked, but I did eventually find it. I settled on the smaller version of this sheath. One that's too think will NOT fit. I had a large knife that I tried to carry with the larger version of this sheath, and I wasn't as big a fan. Didn't hold as tightly to my belt, and didn't hold the knife as securely. The knife I linked, and the smaller version of this sheath combo were the right choice though. I scout carry the knife, meaning I wear it on my back. Very comfortable. I sometimes even forget it's there! The only exception would be when it gets caught on something when I'm trying to squeeze through a small space. I try to always have my shirt over the knife, that usually tends to solve the problem. Also, it gets a TAD bit uncomfortable when riding around in vehicles. But because this knife isn't that big, it isn't that big a deal. I would recommend this sheath to anyone wanting to free up some pocket space. Whether you carry on the back like me, or on a hip!

Real leather, work's very well with a 4.5 inch pocket knife. Good value, fits a 2 inch belt. Great purchase.

Pictures show pouch on a standard 1.5" belt. And about 1/2" too loose for holding tool securely. Arrived on time and in good packaging. Quality is very nice. However, it's too large of an opening to hold my Leatherman pt2 securely. The belt loop is also quite large. May fit a tool belt nicely. It will not hold tool tight or keep pouch from sliding around. I can and will modify it to fit my needs. So if that's something you can and want to do, it's very nicely made. But for fitment of the box, not so much. 3 stars for quality. 0 stars for not working as expected and myself having to make modifications.

Perfect size for my knife. Holds it on the back of my belt while I'm fishing. Doesn't add extra weight, its a light leather that should last a long time.

The leather that holds the knife is too large for adequate concealment. When I put a knife into the holder and wear a T-shirt, you can see a bulge in the T-shirt, where the knife is being held. It would be reasonably apparent to someone that there is some object causing the T-shirt to bulge outward in that area. For this reason, this belt holder is not very practical in terms of concealment. It would be a good holder if you are not trying to conceal something.

Simple well made and does exactly what it says. Have a Buck knife that fits well and can wear all the time without worrying that it will get knocked out my pocket.

As long as your knife has a strong, stiff clip your knife isn’t going anywhere. I’ve tried a few different types and sizes of knives in this sheath and it will accommodate most (a lot) of different sizes with no issues. Soft, smooth leather. No issues with it fitting on different belts either (width, type of material). Very happy with this item. Holds the knife nice and snug and easily removes when needed. I wear mine in the small of my back and have no issues retrieving it. Nice and discreet.

Good quality this is not the same as the picture, it’s better in my opinion. The front is the same but the back is two pieces of leather the same dimensions which is the part that has the belt going through , which offers great stability and won’t slip around easily. Second one I bought both are good. 4.5” long
